Quest 3 USB Speed

Forums

Hello I'm trying to use the Quest 3 through VH but when I run the speed test it only shows a speed of 347mbps. Should be in the Gbps range. Any ideas why it might be sharing at such a slow speed? I'm using USB 3 with a suitable wire that works when not going through VH and tried multiple wires.

Any tips to help boost the speed will be appreciated!

Thanks

Security with usb stick with an eIDAS security certificate

Forums

Hi,

I use USB stick with an eIDAS security certificate with your product . A provider of these keys would like to know if security is ensured between your client and your server. For example, is the connection between the server and the key encrypted?

Here are some links

1) type of usb key

2)Discovery of eIDAS

Purchase for HPE G10

Forums

Hello!

We need to purchase several VH licenses for HP DL360G10 servers.

I noticed, that the serial number of the running VH server in the Current Licenses window matches the serial number of the server itself. For HP DL360G8 the VH serial number looks different.

Eg:

DL360G10,s/n=CZ******BD,1 device

DL360G8,s/n=7052cb0f-df0f-4d0a-a1be-d4b19e61f080,1 device

Is this information suitable for ordering a program for the G10?

Trying to get VirtualHere to work with my Xbox One wireless dongle and Elite Controller 2 from a Windows laptop to a Windows desktop

Forums

Hello,

I have a Windows laptop that is connected via wireless dongle to my Xbox Elite 2 controller.  The controller works connected to the laptop with no issues.  The laptop is running the VirtualHere server.  I have the VirtualHere client running on my Windows desktop, and I'd like to get the controller connected.

In the client, I can see the device "XBOX ACC", but when I go to use it, it says it's in use briefly, but then it disconnects.  Here is the server log when trying to use the device:

Send paintext passwords

Forums

Hi,

I would like to authenticate the entered password and the corresponding user name against an LDAP - unfortunately this is not so easy, as the password is sent directly MD5 encoded. Is there a way (e.g. when using SSL or similar) to send the password to the server in plain text? (using this method: https://www.virtualhere.com/authorization)
Otherwise I would have to set up separate passwords, which in turn is quite tedious.

best regards,

Virtualhere suddenly has a problem in my synology nas.

Forums

I've been using virtualhere well for 6 months on synology d213j. But I've been having trouble using usb dongle all of a sudden since yesterday. I see ㅡmy usb dongle on Synology Hub, but I couldn't connect. So I tried rebooting NAS, but now I didn't recognize usb. So it was the same when I stopped using the virtualhere app and ran it again.
Lastly, I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it worked, but the same problem occurred again in a day.

Linux GUI startup options - .bashrc file

Forums

Good day,

I've been trying your software for a few days now in demo mode before purchasing.

The server runs fine but I have the client GUI app on a Debian 12 Linux machine. I've been going through all the the support articles, posts, and web results but I can't find a way to have the vhuit64 file run at startup. Starting it manually is not a viable option in my use case.

You mentioned in one of your replies a few years ago that it needs to be done in the .bashrc file. I've done some research on this as well but unfortunately, I can't get it to work.
