Issue connecting Xbox Controller

Forums

New virtualhere user here, and I'm testing it out on my laptop before buying a license and a new Pi for a more permanent setup.

I'm trying to connect an Xbox one controller with the wireless adapter. It works just fine plugged in locally, and when connected remotely with virtualhere the adapter shows up, but no controllers will connect. Is there any additional steps I need to take to get it to work, or any log locations on the client/server to investigate further?

No usb hubs actually show up just says “connecting to usb hub”

Forums

I’ve added port forward on my Deco router as well as reserved my client ip for my desktop pc. Rebooted my router.

virtual usb server is running on my desktop. Im on win 10 btw.
virtualhere client is installed on remote pc. Added usb hub with my public ip address.

I feel like I’ve done all the steps. What am I missing?

Apple Silicon

Forums

I have been using virtual here for an older MacBook Pro. I just updated to a new MacBook Pro with the Apple M2 Pro microprocessor. I noticed that your client specifically says it is for Intel silicon. Does that mean you don't have a product for Apple silicon yet? If so, do you play to support Apple silicon or do I need to find a new product?

Thanks,
-Clarke

Slow speed on windows 10/11 server.

Forums

Hi,

Any tips on the slow speeds on Windows 10/11? the radio is so choppy (RTL-SDR Blog V3) windows ( FREE ) client and server. ( although will buy licence if this gets fixed)

it's only pulling 4-5 MB/s on a 10GBE Network.

And for reference using the SDR++ server on the same 2 Windows ( server on windows 10, Client on windows 11 ) machines I get 83-97 MB/s  ( without compression ) so it's not my network.

Thanks.

Prime.

USB Cam connected to RPI not working on OSX M1

Forums

I have a USB cam connected to a Raspberry Pi 4B and would like to use it on my Mac Studio. Mac is running the latest client version, Raspberry the latest ARM build. The USB camera is connected on the client and visible. No matter which application I try it cannot access the camera (means there is no picture at all). The camera works properly on the locally connected Raspberry and also when I connect it directly to my Mac.

Any ideas please?

Thanks and greetings from Berlin.

WD PR4100 NAS

Forums

I've tried to use the client on both OSX and Windows to connect to my WD PR4100 NAS. I can see the WD drive I have connected in the WD local web page. The client can see the Hub and NAS and drive.

USB HUBS
    MyCloud Hub
       My Passport

When I right click and choose use this device (on any of the items listed) I get a popup saying "Sorry disks cannot be redirected via VirtualHere on a WD MyCloud NAS"

Any ideas?
