Installing server on a LInux PC

Forums

I'm very new to linux, but I have a small little Ubuntu PC that I'd like to try this on. But I have no idea how to install it. The Windows version is a snap. I downloaded vhusbdx86_64  for Linux but I've tried everything to install but I cannot get anything to happen to get the nice GUI to show up like in Windows. Is this possible? If so, is there a tutorial on what to do?

I was able to get $ sudo ./vhusbdx86_64 -b

to do something without an error, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Can't I just download a program like in Windows?

Fanatec Wheel/Pedals with a Yaw2

Forums

I use VirtualHere with the Yaw2 Pro and have an issue with my Fanatec Wheel/Pedals. Turns out, that I am not the only one (another user posted the exact same issue in the Yaw Discord). So maybe anyone here has an idea on how to solve this issue.

When I have multiple devices connected (Vive Tracker, X56 HOTAS, mouse reciever), the wheel randomly gets no input for roughly 1-2 seconds. That happens totally random. Sometimes more often, sometimes rarely.

USB dongle is not visible by the system on the client.

Server – Ubuntu 22.04.3 + VirtualHere Server Version 4.6.2
Client – Win 11 64-bit + VirtualHere Version 5.5.7
I don't use VirtualHere SSL.
USB dongle based on SLE 78CUFX3000PH smart chips from Infineon, based on the M7893 security controller.
The client is connected to the server's IP address, port 7575.

Connecting from different networks

Forums

Hi!

I am considering to buy a licence for use between my Mac on Parsec and Windows for CAD. Though I have not been able to connect between the Mac and PC over different networks. Is there some solution to this issue or is it just not a possibility?
From my understanding this should be possible through cloud?

Edit: I got this working I think. Though I just get an error when connecting a SpaceMouse. Any ideas? (There was an error using this device).
