Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
I Micheal
Can you tell us more about this system?
I've tried to use several USB sound adapters shared from my Raspberry Pi 3 VirtualHere server from within a Linux VM without success. From Windows, they all work fine. In the Linux VM, this is what dmesg is giving me when I attach the sound device:
I have VH up and running and it’s working, but what’s odd is my RPI seems essentially frozen. I have the pi connected to a small monitor and as soon as the server starts the keyboard and mouse no longer work. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?
i was trying to build a graphical interface using reactJS and wonder if there is any API endpoint, i am using axios client and trying to send a request for VH on the server ip, with endpoints like "api/devices" for example.
VirtualHare Client for Windows ARM is it no longer supported? I can not find it
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out for assistance with an ongoing issue I've been facing while trying to connect my Adafruit Grand Central M4 Express board to my M3 iMac through VirtualHere, using a Windows 11 laptop as the server. Despite several attempts and troubleshooting on my own, the connection remains unstable, and the device repeatedly binds and unbinds, among other errors.
Server Side (Windows 11):
My current setup:
Client: Windows 11 laptop.
Server: Raspberry Pi 4 running the optimized server distribution.
USB devices plugged into the Raspberry Pi:
1) a USB webcam
2) a USB bluetooth dongle
Hi,
over the last two days, Bitdefender has started flagging VirtualHere as malicious and refuses to let it run - has anyone else had this problem? I'm trying to report it as a false positive but the form refuses to upload to the Bitdefender website. I sahll keep trying and see what they say.

IAin
I used OpenSSL to generate a server key but when I select the server.pem file on the Shield app, the error message says "Error: RSA Private Key not found in PEM File". However, I've got the file open in NotePad and am looking right at the private key in it. When I used the 2013 guide to generate the key, OpenSSL did automatically prompt me to enter a password for the certificate request but I just hit enter, so as far as I know it isn't using one, though perhaps I would need to force OpenSSL to not prompt for one?
I used your application with AudioMoth USB microphone(384K sample rate audio).
https://www.openacousticdevices.info/audiomoth
But almost a couple of percent of audio data is not receiving.
