HyperV / installation software not detecting USB dongle

Forums

G'day!

I am trying to install a code-signing certificate on a HyperV machine.

I've plugged the USB dongle into the HyperV host, and installed both server and client versions of VirtualHere.  All good - the USB dongle displays like a regular USB device on the client HyperV machine (something that I couldn't achieve via regular HyperV functionality - so well done for VirtualHere!)

Linux gui (vhuit64) not starting

Forums

Hello,

I have the server (vhusbdarm ) running on a raspberrypi.  I'm trying to run the linux gui (vhuit64) on my virtual Kubuntu 22.04 machine.  Whey I do, I don't see anything happen.  When I try to run it from the command line with, sudo vhuit64, it says command not found.

Very confused here, can someone help me out?  Thanks.

Steamlink crashes with virtualhere enabled

Forums

Hi, I bought the virtualhere software on steam and it detected my hyperx headset. I shared it but every time I start streaming it crashes my steam link and I have to unplug it to restart it. Do you have any thoughts on how to resolve it? I tried both the public and beta build.

Thank you!

I got a new android device but unable to purchase VirtualHere license

Forums

Hi.

I've been using VirtualHere on an android tablet for about 2 years.

And recently, I got a brand new android tablet.

Obviously, VirtualHere says "This Sever is unlicensed, some features are unavailable."

But I can't figure out how to change the registration key.

If I select "BUY LICENSE" on the pop-up menu, it directly connect to Google Store and it says:

"You already have this item."

I think it's because I previously bought a license through Google Store.

What should I do with this?

CodemeterCM Failure to connect

Forums

Hello,

I have been testing the client agent with a USB CodemeterCM USB from wibu systems connected to the service

Fists, we list the USB connected to the server :
vhui64.exe -t LIST

-> CodeMeter-Stick M (MSI.5)

Then we select the device

vhui64.exe -t "USE,MSI.5"

and we always get FAILED after 5 seconds or less

we tried with the licenses server and without the license and we get the same error any suggestions?

thanks

Shield TV unable to access controller

Forums

Hello,

I had a search and read the FAQs but kept finding the opposite problem to this!

I have installed virtual here server on my NVidia Shield TV to share a USB device (not my xbox controller connected via a usb 8 bit do adapter). However the xbox controller no longer controls the shield even though there are no clients using it. How can I stop virtualhere taking over control of the 8bitdo adapter and therefore release the controller back to the system? I couldn't see anything in the options.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks :)
