Support for VirtualHere hardware and software

Virtualhere suddenly has a problem in my synology nas.

Forums

I've been using virtualhere well for 6 months on synology d213j. But I've been having trouble using usb dongle all of a sudden since yesterday. I see ㅡmy usb dongle on Synology Hub, but I couldn't connect. So I tried rebooting NAS, but now I didn't recognize usb. So it was the same when I stopped using the virtualhere app and ran it again.
Lastly, I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it worked, but the same problem occurred again in a day.

Linux GUI startup options - .bashrc file

Forums

Good day,

I've been trying your software for a few days now in demo mode before purchasing.

The server runs fine but I have the client GUI app on a Debian 12 Linux machine. I've been going through all the the support articles, posts, and web results but I can't find a way to have the vhuit64 file run at startup. Starting it manually is not a viable option in my use case.

You mentioned in one of your replies a few years ago that it needs to be done in the .bashrc file. I've done some research on this as well but unfortunately, I can't get it to work.

Unable to bind controller from Mac server

Forums

I'm attempting to bind a GuliKit King Kong Pro2 controller from my mac desktop to my windows game streaming rig. Up until a week or two ago this was working without issue. Now when I attempt to connect the controller, I get the following error (the first three lines are a successful connection, the last two are the error).

Is it possible to add device $NICKNAME$ to onUnbind virtualhere server event?

Forums

Hi.

I was trying to log the onUnbind event with the device $NICKNAME$ but it returns blank string.

On config.ini I used: onUnBind=/usr/local/etc/virtualhere/scripts/onUnbind.sh "$VENDOR_ID$" "$PRODUCT_ID$" "$CLIENT_ID$" "$CLIENT_IP$" "$PRODUCT_SERIAL$" "$PASSWORD$" "$DEVPATH$" "$NICKNAME$"

Am I doing something wrong?

Regards,

Carlos

Xbox Series X & Controller over IP via Mac & GL-AR300M

Forums

Hi, hope you'll be able to advise.

I'd like to use an Xbox controller on an Xbox Series X beyond the typical wireless range. I have a second screen connected via 30m fibre optic HDMI but the controller doesn't comfortable connect wirelessly.

I could run more Cat5/6 cable and run USB over that but it'd be great to run over IP. I'd all but given up hope until I found this project.

Fake windows on linux host for USB?

Forums

Hello I'm using virtualhere windows server, and working flawleslly with my controller dongle(2.4 ghz RF).

However on my Cloudhub(pi3) when i'm attaching the controller it enters a different mode and thinks it is connected to a Switch.

I've tried claimports=1 did not helped.

I assume it somehow detects the OS during attachment and linux makes it thinks it is a Switch.
