connecting diskdrive to mycloud-ex2-ultra via usb

Forums

I'm trying to connect an extra diskdrive to mycloud-ex2-ultra via usb. The drive is a WD, 5TB capacity. I can approach this drive fine via the WS dashboard, but when I try to connect via VirtualHere it says "This is a USB 3.x drive, connect it to a USB 2.0 port" - which is nonsense of course, as the Ex2 Ultra only does have USB 3.x ports.
Any suggestions?
Kind regards from Germany

Changing Network ports on Android

Forums

Hello,

I have been using virtual here to connect my android and PC. The PC is the client, while the android is the server. Whenever the phone is on wifi it connects with the PC client great, but whenever I try it with cellular it does not work. I have been trying to figure out solutions and I think that changing my network ports might do the trick.

So I was wondering, how do I change the network ports on my Android phone virtual server and my PC virtual client?

Hyper X Cloud Headset - Invalid configuration descriptor

Forums

I have the VirtualHere server installed to the Nvidia Shield Pro (via the Play Store) and the Licensed client on my windows 10 PC. When I try and connect to the headset from PC a windows error pops up saying unrecognized USB device. When I look at it in device manager it shows under the Universal Serial Bus controllers as a Unknown USD Device (Invalid Configuration Descriptor).

What can I do to fix this?

Nvidia Shield and Virtualhere Issue

Forums

<p>I just installed Virtualhere on my Nvidia Shield. Managed to connect it to my computer and both systems recognize each other. I'm trying to use Virtualhere to circumvent the issue where the Shield doesn't allow for the Mic to work on the headset if plugged into the Shield Locally. While using Moonlight but I keep running into an issue where the "nvidia virtual audio device (wave extensible) (wdm)" keeps overriding my headset. Is this a known issue with Moonlight/Gamestream? Has anyone come across this issue?

Unable to install driver on macOS Monterey 12.5.1 on a Apple M1 Max MacBook Pro

Forums

I am running the server on a Raspberry Pi Zero and the client on my M1 Max MacBook Pro. The client runs and sees the server and the USB thumb drive plugged into the server. When I try to use the USB device I am asked to install the driver. The installation fails. Have tried deleting the file that installs in /Library/Extensions/vhhcd.kext , rebooting and re-try to install again but the installation fails again. I read this could be a possible solution. This is what I get in the logs:
