Android Server + Client on ArchLinux

Forums

Hello!
I am trying to run Android server and ChimeraOS (ArchLinux) client.
(Android server + Windows 10 client works flawlessly)
I have 2 devices: XBOX Wireless Adapter and BT Controller
When accessing the device, it turns off.

uname -a:
Linux chimeraos 5.12.12-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri, 18 Jun 2021 21:59:22 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux

dmesg:

ft601 usb chip drops out after around 10 minutes.

Forums

Hi, I am currently evaluting your software with the trial license. I have an ftdi ft601 transmitting data at around 60 Mbps. Your software seems to handle it great. The CPU load is low and there are no dropped packets. However, after around 10-15 minutes the USB connection is just dropped completely. When I reboot the system and set up the connection, everything works fine again.

Is this a software issue or is it a limitation of the trial version?

Best regard,
Christian A. Cartfjord

Possible issue with NKRO keyboards on Android 10

I'm trying to accomplish something very specific, but I may have stumbled across a general issue in the Android version of the USB server.

Tested with 2 Android 10 devices, and 4 keyboards:

NKRO Keyboard 1: OS never prompted to grant permission to access the device
- Attempted via USB-C to USB-C
- Attempted via USB-C to USB-A to USB-A hub to USB-C
- Attempted via USB-C to USB-A to USB-A adapter to USB-C

Can't get VirtualHere working with Nvidia Shield

Forums

Hello. Using Xbox One controller on the Nvidia Shield there is no vibration/rumble so I tried VirtualHere as that supposedly enables vibration but I can't get it to work.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I downloaded VirtualHere USB Server for Windows 10-64bit, I downloaded the client on my PC. I downloaded the VirtualHere on my Nvidia Shield.
I plugged the provided Xbox dongle into the Shield but no popup showed anywhere.

Android Server Licence Question

Forums

Hi, i bought what i thought was a lifetime standalone VH android server licence for one device about three years ago for Shield TV but havent used it for about a year. After sideloading VH android server on Shield TV today i was pleasantly surprised to discover it is now available directly from Google Play Store but there does not seem to be any way to enter licence key which i paid about $50 for as it was sold as a life time licence for one device to be used as VH server.

Wireless mouse receiver and wired keyboard are not recognized by Android server

Forums

Thank you so much for making this program. Please understand that I'm using a translator because my English is not good. Most wired keyboards and mice work well. However, if you connect the wireless mouse receiver, Android Arthur works well, but Virtualhere doesn't recognize the device. The same goes for the wired and wireless keyboard I have. This keyboard is not recognized by virtualhere when wired. I would like to send you the log, but there are too many because there is no log clear function.
