Shield TV options

Forums

Hey all,

I recently decided to purchase a shield for use with Geforce Now games as it has just launched in Australia, however, due to lack of research, I decided to go with the regular non-pro Shield TV (2019). Of course, these devices don't have USB ports so I am now stuck with no ability for a local wireless mic when I play on it.

I heard Virtualhere could maybe help with this, so I figured I'd hook my wireless USB mic to my desktop and stream it to the Shield. Sadly I see there is no Virtualhere Client for the Shield TV, just the USB Server.

macOS: the VirtualHere Client drivers could not be loaded

Forums

I am trying to forward my iPhone to a macOS VM running on a remote server. I am able to SSH forward the VirtualHere server and find my device on the list, but right-clicking on the device and selecting "use this device" shows the following error:

> The VirtualHere Client drivers could not be loaded. Try rebooting your machine and running VirtualHere Client again.

I have indeed tried rebooting the machine and re-trying the connection, but the same error showed up.

mouse and keyboard disconnect after 10 seconds m1 macbook

Forums

On windows the mouse and keyboard which are connected to raspberry pi stay connected even if they idle for 10 seconds.
On my macbook the mouse and keyboard work instantly and for as long as you activley use it. If you either stop typing or moving the mouse for 10 seconds, you have to repair the device and constantly move it. I cannot figure out what is wrong.

Problem in device nicknaming from client

Forums

I am using VirtualHere server version 4.3.3 and vhui client version 5.2.3. My problem is simple: I want to plug in a device to the server and then rename it by giving it a nickname using the UI client. This works as is, but when I restart the server, all the renamings are lost. When reading the documentation, I got the assumption that the server would write the nickname information to the config.ini file to persist the nicknames. I am hoping this would work so, but currently does not do it.

VirtualHere doesnt work properly in the client side.

Forums

Hello, I am a user who uses cloud gaming. I am currently sharing a pc in the cloud with the parsec software. My problem with VirutaHere is that no device is detected on the client-side even though I tried to disable the firewall and all that stuff. However, the server-side works properly. Certainly, with Parsec the detection of keyboard and mouse is possible but I use an extreme 3d pro joystick to play airplane simulator and this one cannot be detected.

I hope that someone will be able to guide me through this problem
