GSX 1000 Virtualhere on Shield TV Pro no sound

Forums

I'm trying to use a GSX 1000 to get sound to my headphones over virtualhere. My pc is able to see the hardware, but I get no sound no matter how I set it up. Is there something I need to do or is there some other way I can do this? Thanks

Setup is PC in another room, fiber HDMI through walls to living room AVR, Virtualhere on shield tv to use m/kb & controllers to PC. Latency has never been an issue as it seems everything is nearly as fast as it would be directly plugged in. Thanks.

How to setup Mac Time Machine using a USB drive connected over a LAN via VirtualHere as an External drive connected to your Mac

How to setup Mac Time Machine using a USB drive connected over a LAN via VirtualHere as an "External drive connected to your Mac"?

I don't want this USB drive to be treated as a "Network-attached storage (NAS) device that supports Time Machine over SMB"

OpenWRT image with VirtualHere installed for the TP-Link MR3040 v2?

Forums

Hi Michael,

Just got this working on my MR3040 v2 with my Saitek X-55 stick and throttle...so stoked that I bought the license immediately!
I have been hunting for an OpenWRT image with the right VirtualHere server binary included because as you know the MR3040 is only a 4mb device so I can't copy the file to permanent storage. Copying it over to /temp and running it every time I boot is a pain!
I know I can extend the file system using a flash drive and a USB hub, but I think it's a bit janky and overcomplicated.
