Hi,

I'm using the "onDeviceUnplug" and "onEnumeration" events to publish an MQTT message when a device disappears or reappears.

In my use case, I want to keep track of expensive software licensing keys and I want to know if one is ever removed. Then send an SMS or e-mail.
It would be a lot easier and more intuitive to use a name / serial number or a nickname vs having to resolve the 4 available parameters

Hi,
I have the server on a McBook Pro running High Sierra, and the client on a Mac Pro running Mojave. When I try to use the NexiGo N930AF FHD Webcam that's plugged into my MacBook Pro, I get the "There was an error using this device" message.
Thanks!
Tom
Trying to start the Windows server and receive a UAC for admin rights which I do not have. Is there a way around this or some way to configure access on the computer to avoid the UAC prompt. IT department is open to the software but I need to explain to them why it needs admin rights.
Thanks,
Jake
Hello, I normally try and exhaust all other options before I ask for help from support, but I know when to admit I'm defeated.
I'm having the same problem as this person: https://www.virtualhere.com/content/using-virtualhere-usb-rtl-sdr-dongl…
Hi guys!
I am running the Steam Link app on my Nvidia Shield TV with a Steam Controller.
Since I was unhappy with the connection reliability when using the Steam Controller via Bluetooth I decided to use VirtualHere to passthrough the dongle to my Host system.
So far I have one purchased license on a 2GB PoE-hatted RPi4.
It's intended purpose is not webcam stuff, as I intended on purchasing another license later for a dedicated rpi 4 to pass what will be 3 webcams through to a dedicated pc meant to record the security footage. However I am using the one I have presently with the license and the optimized for rpi4 special build image.
For the intended function of passing through a usb-bluetooth dongle, and a usb3 blue-ray disk drive this tool works flawlessly
Hi Michael,
I have successfully installed your excellent VirtualHere server (free vesion) on a NEXX WT3020F router running OpenWRT and I am trying to test a possible connection scenario of my DSLR(s) with both MacOS Mojave and Windows 7 (64 bit) as client computers.
I am confronted with the following problems and I would appreciate any advice:
