Blue Screen on Windows 10 Pro Build 19041

Forums

When attempting to connect a client device from a Mac OS server, my computer blue-screens with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION in vhusb3hc.sys

"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff80072a66572, 0xffff860692b5c940, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 9bcd9c18-380b-4505-91a9-624035a51cba."

The windows OS is running in a Byhve VM, so I was looking for a solution to pass through USB over the network to make up for the lack of hardware USB passthrough.

Windows client gui

Forums

Hello support,
I need to map an usb hrdware key into a windows 2019 Remote desktop host.
This means that I can connect more than one user without admin rights into same windows server.
For example in the same moment i have 2 user plus one admin logged in and use their separate desktop environment.

In this scenario the first user run the virtualhere client gui, make it inaccessible for the others.... and the other users can run the gui only if the first user exit from the gui by click on try icon and then choose exit.

So my questions:

Virtualhere - iLok Sharing, Reliable Recording Studio Setup

Forums

Hi Everyone,

I’m sure some of these questions have been answered before. But I believe there are a few recording engineers scratching their heads with the same questions. Im kinda looking for an all in one solution here.

firstly….I run a recording studio in Australia and Im looking at creating a "multi" iLok Virtualhere setup. And I stress the word multi. I want to share 2x iLoks to my studio assistants in studio down time.

Device connects successfully but does not supply a /dev/cu.* on MacOS

Forums

First of saying I am very excited over being able to remotely upload firmware and doing development of an ESP-32 connected to my QNAP NAS (and bought license) even though unfortunately not working as anticipated.

I am currently running vhusbdx86_64 v3.4.7 on QNAP-NAS TS-431 (kernel 4.14.24)
And the VirtualHere Client 5.1.4 on MacOS Mojave (10.14.6)

W10 client keeps losing license

Forums

I have a freshly bought and licensed Virtualhere setup. Server on a Raspberrypi 4, client on Windows 10. Works fine, except that the W10 client keeps losing the license information at least one a day. Keeps coming up as trial. The license is seemingly lost at random, can’t figure out a pattern. Of course, the license can be reinstalled, and it works, but it is a nuisance. How can the license be installed persistently?

Virtual here server closes as soon as it's open

Forums

I am on Win10 10.0.19042.685
I have hyper-v enabled, not sure if that affects this.
10850k, 64gb of ram, gtx 1070.

As soon as I open virtual here usb server, it displays for a quater of a second and then closes. It is not running in the system tray.
I don't see any logs either.

Getting syntax error using (presumably) the correct executable

Forums

New user of both VirtualHere and Raspbian here. I downloaded the specific server version for my Raspberry Pi 4 model B, in other words "vhusbdarm64a72", but when I try to run it, I get the following error: "Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")" As far as I know, this usually occurs when trying to run an executable that isn't made for whatever CPU/OS one is running.

Am I totally off regarding the version? Should I use another executable?
