USB device not available after reboot

Forums

I am testing using a Raspberry Pi 4B as a server (created using the hardware image, cloudhub-pi4-factory-sdcard) and operation is as expected except for one issue: when the server is rebooted the Cloudhub device again becomes available on the client, but the attached USB device at the server is not visible. The only way to restore access to the USB device is to physically disconnect and reconnect the USB device at the server, at which time the USB device again becomes available to the client.

problems with USB Server and VPN

Forums

I´m trying to implement virtualhere over a VPN service (OpenVPN)

I´m runnig a VPN service and a remote SSH access and the virtualhere service as well.

I´m trying to access my RPI connected to a PLC with prolific usb to serial cable.

It works for only a few seconds and then it desconects.

The VPN (OpenVPN client) and the SSH (Putty) conecctions works relatively fine. They eventually disconnects too but with a much lower frequency.

Not able to change Port via SSLPort=7584

Forums

Hi anybody,

I'm using two Pi's as VHUSBServer and I want to connect them both via Internet/Port Forwarding. Therefore I need to change the TCP/SSL Port of one of the two servers.

I'm forwarding the Ports 7574 to Pi1 and 7584 to Pi2.

It works perfectly if I'm not using SSLcert in config.ini and I'm using TCPPort=7584 on Pi2.

But, as soon as I'm using SSLcert and SSLPort=7584, the Pi2 is no more available.

As a crosscheck, I'm removing SSLPort=7584 and the Pi2 is perfectly available via 7574.

Can anyone help me?

X52 Pro HOTAS via Wifi - Raspberry Pi 0 W - drops connection randomly - stuck input

Forums

I followed the lead of the guy in the HOTAS video you linked in the "interesting uses" page:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTIGlutAzR8 (Use a HOTAS flight stick wirelessly via VirtualHere)

I have a Raspberry Pi 0 W and an X52 Pro HOTAS.

I want to have a wireless HOTAS setup for 360 play in the YAWVR motion simulator chair.

Virtualhere seems like the perfect solution!

So I got everything set up like in the video:

Bluetooth dongle: There was a error using this device

Forums

Hello! I'm trying to share a USB Bluetooth dongle from an old Mac (VirtualHere Server) to share a USB Bluetooth adapter to a Windows PC (VirtualHere client).

Unfortunately, when I try to connect to the the Bluetooth dongle on the Windows client, I get a somewhat cryptic error message: "there was a error using this device"

The Server Log provides a bit more information:

How to print from a smartphone? (Android)

Forums

Hello,

I wanted to send a document from Adobe Reader on my smartphone to my Canon LBP2900B that is connected to my QNAP TS-131P NAS. Do I have to install an Android app on my smartphone for the printer to be accessible in the list of printers on my phone?
(FYI, I'm able to print from my Windows computer with the VirtualHere client)
Thank you,

Charles.
