Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
Hi
I use the cloud version on a raspberry Pi3 but also tried is with the server version on a Pi4
No connection from PC after my VirtualHere Client updated on my Nvidia Shield.
I downloaded the latest version on PC but still no connection?
Nothing comes up under USB Hubs?
When trying to 'Use this Device', the app tried to install drivers.
It then throws errors:
Error creating process .
Reason: C:\WINDOWS\system32\advpack.dll
It then says the Virtual Client drivers could not be loaded.
Here are some logs:
Steam big picture is working with my Samsung TV and xbox controller but it will not work with my T16000m Joystick with Microsoft flight Simulator 2020. The joystick works when playing MS flight simulator on my main computer, but it is not seen using steam big picture on my Samsung TV. If I purchase Steam virtualhere will I be able to use my T16000m joystick when pluging into my samsung usb port while using big picture mode on my remote TV with MS flight sim 2020?
Hi Michael. I recently updated the app on my Nvidia Shield through the Google Play app and now I don’t have a valid license. I pasted in my original serial but it’s not doing anything.
I’m on Build 1040
I have read the FAQ and see that when a USB device is connected it should ask for permission and pop up in the server app. However this isn't the case for me.
I am using an LG G Stylo running Lineage OS 7.1.2, I installed the Virtualhere app from the playstore and can connect to it from my Windows 10 Desktop. The only problem is no devices plugged into the phone are showing up in the server.
I am running virtualhere server on my 10.15.7 MacBook Pro. and the Client is on Windows 10.
I am trying to connect a 3D Connextion SpaceMouse Wireless, and it appears to be connected in the client, Windows even makes the device connected sound. However the spacemouse is still controlling the cursor in macOS (its default behavior if the drivers are not installed), and it doesn't control anything in windows.
Below is the message I get in the server log;
Hello,
Frist, I am having sporadic success with the Virtual Here auto starting on my Synology (DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 2). Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.
1) Is it always suppose to? (hope so!). But then why doesn't it?
2) Is there a more reliable way of ensuring it does. Synology will not support 3rd party apps. I'd be happy to add in a start request in Linux, but I do not know the file structure of where the app is, nor have I done this before on the Synolgoy NAS. I do now how to get to sudo user access in the terminal.
I've had no issues using my Xbox One Wireless Adapter on its own through VH for some time through the Nvidia Shield Android server, but I'm needing to have some additional peripherals connected. For some reason as soon as I connect the Adapter through a USB hub it goes from working correctly to Windows showing it as "Unknown USB Device (Invalid Configuration Descriptor)".
Hi,
I get this periodically, usually after a period of non-use (tends to be a day or two, often with a device still connected.)
If I restart the daemon then everything is fine.
Not sure if it's triggered by the client system rebooting while a device is connected ... I haven't managed to pin it down that specifically.
Server version is: 4.2.0 (arm on a pi4)
Client is 5.0.8 (on Win10)
BTW ... is "check for updates" supposed to work? It never does for me!
Thanks,
Lee.
