When using VirtualHere server on the Pixel 8 Pro running Android 15 only one of the two expected interfaces are passed through. It does, however, work when using a Shield TV as the server.

The Riffmaster uses an RF dongle and appears as a composite device with two interfaces. One is an "Xbox Gaming Device," which is successfully passed through on both the Pixel and the Shield. The other interface is an HID device of subclass 0. This second interface only works using the Shield as the server.

Managed to get this installed using the standalone image, which looks great.

However, it keeps dropping the connection over wired (and not able to ssh in).

Works fine on wifi. It shows up on eth but its very flaky.

Any ideas?

I am able to connect my Raspberry Pi 4 to the internet with the stock OS, but not cloudhub-pi4-initial.img

I am using raspberry pi imager, and enabling ssh and configuring wireless network through the imager.

I also tried chatgpt method of creating an empty ssh file and customized wpa_supplicant.conf file in the boot, no luck.

No green lights on raspberry pi with cloudhub-pi4-initial.img.

i use M1 macs with virtualhere (client and server) and every time i connect to a thumb drive with one of my clients, macOS (on the server) is not happy about it because it wasnt unmounted properly. Is there any way to unmount devices before they're grabbed by the client? Wouldn't it be useful to implement this feature as  default in future releases of virtualhere?

I'm currently evaluating VirtualHere as a solution that allows to remotely connect via network a PC to a USB CDC device, but I'm experiencing a problem when the device is continuously transmitting data to the PC with an interval that is lower than the network latency between the PC and the device:
I was expecting VirtualHere to combine the USB bulk data received in the network latency timeframe but this is only occurring after precisely 25 bulk data packets coming from the device.

I have installed the virtualhere server on a GL-AR300M16 and it has been really simple to setup and get it to work.

There are a few settings I would like to change on the GL-AR300M16. I have looked on the forum but I haven't found any answers:

-Is it possible to change the Glinet's IP adress and IP adress range for DHCP server?

-Is it possible to disable the DHCP server all together?

-Is it possible to use the ethernet WAN port as a lan port?

Running Synology DS216j with DSM 7.1.1. After the last update VirtuaHere to 4.6.6.-1466, USB dongles and sticks stay connected even after disconnecting client. When I forget disconnect in VirtualHere panel manually USB before switching off the client, I am not able to connect it anymore, even with the same client. I have to pull out the USB dongle from the Synology and put it back. Before the update the connections were released automatically, without problems.

I have two Mac machines (macOS 15.0) running on the same LAN.

I connected my iPad (iOS 17.6.1) to one Mac machine and ran the Virtual Here server on it.

I then ran the Virtual Here client on the other Mac machine. I can see the iPad listed on the Virtual Here client, but after using it, I still cannot see the iPad on the macOS Finder.

Have I missed a step in the process?

Hello. Thank you for the convenient and simple program, but during the setup process some questions arose that I couldn’t figure out on my own

1. Is it possible in Windows to use authorization using two passwords for two different devices via a bat file, without using python, powershell and others?

2. When running the program as a service, Windows does not process the auth.bat authorization file. When the service is disabled and started manually, the authorization file is used and connections are made according to the parameters entered in it

I have been succesfully using Virtualhere Server/Client on two Windows_10 machines since September 2022. Three FTDIChip COM ports and one Silicon Labs device (with CP210x Universal Windows Driver) generating two COM ports. I have been using Silicon Labs drivers on both Windows_10 machines with no problem for two years.
