Hello everyone,
I have the problem that some devices cannot detect the wifi created by my server.
Server:
Raspberry Pi 5 (2GB) running the pre-made cloudhub image (v4.7.8) from an SD card.
Clients:
Before the recent update on the server side i had no issues connecting to the server (after setting up the firewall accordingly).
But after todays update i can no longer connect to my server if i don't disable the Firewall completely.
I have the Windows app for the Server side running 4.7.8.0 and the Client running 5.8.5 / 5.8.7
Hi Michael,
I'm using VirtualHere on my Nvidia Shield and love the app, but I'm facing an annoying issue with a well known popup that appears every time I boot or wake my device.
Open VirtualHere USB Server to handle USB Composite Device? This app has not been granted record permission but could capture audio through this USB device.
This is referring to the USB receiver for the Android TV remote I have.

Hello,
I am having a very frustrating issue, I purchased and installed VirtualHere Windows Server to run on a sim rig machine running in my shed. I then installed VirtualHere Windows Client on my main gaming computer inside my office to use these USB Devices in-game.
On the server side we have the following USB devices;
Brand new user here, but I am trying to connect a device that requires a USB2.0 connection through to a VM. The device gets detected and I can push it to the VirtualBox VM, however the device is detected as using a USB 3.0 port despite being physically plugged into a USB 2.0 port on the device. Any way to force USB2.0 use or otherwise ensure the system will recognize the 2.0 port being used for the device?
Thanks!
Hello Michael,
I am experiencing an issue with my VirtualHere Client (version 5.8.7) on macOS Sequoia (15.3) where it repeatedly disconnects from remote VirtualHere Server, while connections to a local server remain stable. Below are the details:
Client & System Information
Hi,
I tried to share my USB drive from my MacBook Pro (M3 chip) to a Windows host using VirtualHere. In fact...... I found that the Windows client couldn't connect at all, but the macOS client worked fine. On the contrary, when Windows was the server and macOS was the client, they could connect. It's quite strange. Could you tell me the specific reason?
Hi!
The executable file (vhusbdarm/vhusbdarm) I'm currently using is too troublesome to import via WINSCP.
Hi!
I have a problem that didn't exist just a few days ago.
I recently upgraded CPU in the PC that functions as VirtualHere Server, from 3900X to 5700X3D. Should be irrelevant but I'm mentioning it nonetheless.
Alongside that hardware change, I finally made the jump from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro. This is my first venture with Windows 11 on a personal computer at home.
As usual with Microsoft, something went terribly wrong. The most fun leisure activity I have been doing - split-screen co-op gaming using two PCs on one monitor - no longer functions!
