Sound issues : Raspberry Pi 2/3 with RTL-SDR over LAN/WIFI

Forums

Hi folks,

I am trying to run the RTL-SDR on the latest version of Raspbian installed on a Pi 2. I can connect to the USB port from my windows 10 laptop, am able to start SDR# and connect to the RTL-SDR as well but the sound is really poor, seem to have an issue with the stream coming through.

I've tried this both using a LAN cable between the laptop, Pi 2 and also over Wifi. Wifi just makes it useless, can't even seem to maintain a connection.

Persistent 'Error using device' message on specific device (Spacemouse Pro) after disconnected remote session

Forums

Have been connecting my 3dConnexion Spacemouse Pro with good success while working remotely. After an unexpected VPN disconnect the Spacemouse will no longer connect. The client connects to the server fine but I receive an 'Error using this device' message when I try to use. Other devices connect fine, just not the one that I want.

I have tried restarting both systems but get the same results. This happened about a week back and I uninstalled and reinstalled everything (virtual here client and server) to get it to work.

Ask about authorization

Forums

Hi Michael
After I tried vitualhere, I felt that this software is very good!
I mainly use it as cubase's usb dongle eLicenser
I use the server version 4.1.7 in Synology DS918+, eLicenser can connect on the client, but can not open cuabse, cubase has been stuck in the startup interface, and then reported an error.

I have one request for usb hub connection.

Forums

I have 3 PCs in the office.
Each PC is located far from each other in Room A, Room B, and Room C.
And in the central hall, an external hard disk with a vh usb server installed is working.

When PC A is using an external hard drive with "In use by you",
If PC B wants to use this external hard drive...
First I have to go to Room A and disconnect it
and I come back to Room B and double click on the external hard drive in PC B vh client to "In use by you".

This is a bit uncomfortable.

I want belows. Is this technically possible?

Ilok sharing error with QNAP

Forums

Hi!

Today I installed the virtual here server on our QNAP TS-559. I bought the license and was able to connect to one of my ilok's in the QNAP hub with my laptop at home via the static external IP address of the QNAP, which is great! Then I tried to also connect with my macmini to another Ilok in my QNAP hub, but I got the message 'ilok sharing error'. Is there a way to make this work with QNAP? Do I have to buy one of those supported power switching USB hubs form the list? Or do I need to get one of those raspberry Pi's?

Best regards,

Jaim

Issue with VH Host Controller driver - WIN10

Forums

The VHC driver seemed to have stopped working on windows with and error:

This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)

I have tried everything. Uninstalling the driver, rebooting, reinstalling the driver from the latest client (automatically as well as manually by extracting the driver).
The event log shows the following problem: The driver \Driver\WsResetDevice failed to load for the device USB\ROOT_HUB30\1&2b53a856&6&0.

Windows 10 restarts on virtualhere connection attempt.

Forums

Hi there,
After I applied the latest Windows 10 updates, my operating system restarts every time I try to use VirtualHere client.
More specifically, the connection to the server seems to be successful and I can see the list of devices but when I double click on a device, the system goes to restart.
I use Windows 10 Pro, version 2004, OS build 19041.264.
Any ideas for a solution will be highly appreciated.
checking what event handlers have been created for devices on android TV products?

Forums

I'm having issues with my xbox controllers on my nvidia shields and also my Sony Android TV. At the moment the wired controller shows up in virtualhere and can be passed through, it then shows in the device manager as the right peripheral but won't show up in the controllers part; it used to do this but hasn't recently. I've probably been a dumb user and played around with the event handlers for some reason but I can't find out which ones are assigned to a device as I understand they are stored on the server.
