Synology,How to restore the neglected USB device
I am running CloudHub on a Raspberry PI. I need to change the WiFi it connects to, but can't remember what password I assigned to the device.
So, is there a way to reset the password?
or, if I re-image the SD Card, will my license work with the new imaged card?
Thanks,
GL-MT300N V2 Can you support it?
I am running vhusbdarm on a Netcomm NTC140-02. The client can see the usb device I am trying to use but I can't get any data to flow when trying to us it. Syslog reports the following:
Hello everyone,
I accidentally set the subnet on my TP-Link MR3020 to 0.0.0.0 so that the server has become unreachable. My first idea was to reset the device to factory defaults. Unfortunately, the method mentioned here -> https://www.virtualhere.com/hardware does not work because the MR3020 does not have a reset switch. On the OEM firmware the device is resetted by pressing the WPS/Reset button for several seconds, instead. However, this seems not work for the CloudHub firmware.
Hi all,
We have a server (NAS) on which are connected 2 USB keys (dongles) for software protection.
On the other hand, we have 2 client servers (VM Windows 2008). Each one uses a specific dongle on the NAS server (1 dongle corresponds to one and ONLY one client, and won't work on the other client).
I checked "Auto use device" and "connected" each key on each VirtualHere client.
Everything is working fine... :)
...except when both clients restart at the same time : the first one to start uses both keys.
Hi,
after updating to vhusbdarmpi 3.6.1 on RaspberryPi-1B the server does not start properly.
"service vhusbdarm status" says:
vhusbdpin.service - LSB: Start VirtualHere USB Sharing on boot
Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/vhusbdpin)
Active: active (exited) since Tue 2018-04-17 17:34:29 BST; 2s ago
Process: 9245 ExecStop=/etc/init.d/vhusbdpin stop (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Process: 9259 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/vhusbdpin start (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Hi,
Using a script to determine the outcome for a quirk (onChangeNickname) I can't pass the IP address variable "$CLIENT_IP$" to the script.
The logger i used shows the "$VENDOR_ID$" and "$PRODUCT_ID$" but not the Client_ID, Client_IP and Product_serial.
The values are filled with a single '$' sign in the output.
Is there a possibility to get the IP address of the client passed to the script so I can allow certain IP addresses to rename the devices?
Kind regards,
Hi all,
Is there a way to restrict the rename functionality to some users?
I'm trying to create a script that allows or disallows access to some devices based on the device name (doing it on serial number is to much of a hassle)
So by allowing administrators to change the names of the new dongles that get connected it allows or disallows access to the users.
The only trouble is that all users that have access to a device also have the ability to rename the devices.
Kind regards,
Hi, i installed the server on a raspberry pi and the client on Win10 both wired.
Client detects the wheel just fine, calibration went smooth tried the wheel on Dirt Rally. The input is working but very often the control just jumps allover. Like when turning the wheel, in game the wheel does nothing for a second and then jumps to the current wheel position. Some other times, random buttons are pressed (camera changes randomly). Might not be true, but i kinda notice this things when more than one input is pressed (wheel turn + pedal)
