message vhuit64:16255 Connection Refused

Forums

Hi I am a newbe to Virtualhere and I am trying it to see if I can overcome what appears to be an issue with using SAMBA on Windows 10.

I have installed virtualhere client on my Centos 7 server so I can print to a printer connected to a USB port on a Windows 10 box.

When I issue the following command on my Centos server....

$ sudo ./vhuit64

I get the following error message.

(vhuit64:16255): IBUS-WARNING **: Unable to connect to ibus: Could not connect: Connection refused.

Can you help with this message vhuit64:16255.

xBox Wireless Adapter Audio & No Man’s Sky

Forums

Hi everyone,

I have been having a devil of a time trying to figure out why my audio stutters and even sometimes end up having my xBox One S controller get disconnected from its wireless adapter that is connected to my VirtualHere USB server (Raspberry Pi 3B+). At first I thought it was due to my CPU, but nope I was wrong.

What is weird, is that this problem only occurs when I use my headphones on my controllers and only when playing No Man’s Sky: Next. All other games and apps have no issue, it’s only that one game.

Any thoughts???

Hub shows as device

Forums

I bought a big USB hub for VirtualHere (running on Raspberry Pi 3), but the device list doesn't show anything attached to it individually, just the hub itself. If I plug in directly or use a different hub then everything is OK. Do I need a specific type of hub, can anyone recommend a good 8+ port one?

Operation not permitted , no such device (TP CAST) ????

Cambridge Silicon Bluetooth Dongle - Seen but not working

Forums

Hi!

I'd like to use a Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth 4.0 Dongle via my Synology NAS on macOS.

I run my licensed server on the NAS and I can see the device in VirtualHere Client.
VirtualHere says that I'm connected, but I can't see the device neither in Bluetooth Explorer nor in macOS system diagnose.

Already tried:
- the "onReset.$VENDOR_ID$.$PRODUCT_ID$=" flag,
- rebooting
- switching the dongle (I have two of the same)
- removing the other dongle from my mac, in case macOS only supports 1 BT dongle

Any idea on what to do?

How to add custom script to RPi0w image

Forums

<p>Hi Folks,
</p>
<p>I have a small custom script which I would like to add to default RPi0w image. In the past I've mounted the second partition from .img file on loopback and did my changes. However since today the file system seams to be changed from ext4 to squashfs and the same procedure does not work. I would appreciate any suggestion on how to mount/modify the image content.

<p>Here is the script I was using in the past to mount the second file system:

new to VirtualHere - config question

Forums

Using a GL.iNet GL-MT300N-V2 Mini Travel Router and USB 2.0 2-Port hub, can I create a USB over IP connection to a Surface Pro tablet for two USB devices? One device is a common GPS unit, the other is a sensor that provides USB data to proprietary software package. Both USB devices communicate with the proprietary software. The USB over IP connection is a peer-to-peer (AdHoc) WiFi, no Internet access.

Clients now report a valid licence as invalid

Forums

I have the generic linux64 Virtualhere server (3.6.7) installed on a linux server running OpenMediaVault 4.1.9. The VH server is licensed for 3 devices and 3 devices are attached.
Today the server was updated. The only update was to Linux kernel 4.17.0-0.bpo.1-amd64.
Coincidentally, snce then all clients (4.5.4) report that my licence is "invalid". The VH server and attached devices are displayed in the client.
Trying to connect a single USB device generates a "trial expired" message from the VH client even though this is a generic VH server build.
