Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
When trying to share a Smart Card I get an error "There was a mistake using this device"
And this log generated,
Is bitstreaming (ac3/dts) supposed to work with any usb audio device?
I was trying to use Creative Omni Surround usb sound card with Steam Link's Virtual Here - analog output worked good, stereo spdif output was sometimes ok, sometimes not, but dts/ac3 were totally stuttering.
Good morning all from a very sunny Wales :)
I have one Raspberry Pi VH Server located in our shop with about 6 devices attached including printers, cutters and USB security dongles. I quite often leave my computer VH client in the shop using a printer.
My question is, if I then change to another computer VH client and try to use the same printer left 'in use' on my other computer, how can I stop using this printer on the 1st computer so I can use it on the 2nd without having to go to the 1st computer to 'stop using the printer'?
I'm trying to use this software to remotely connect a remote Android phone to my computer. The remote device is a Macbook Pro running the VirtualHere Server, and the client machine is a Windows 10 desktop.
Is there any way to send messages to the client, through scripts running on server events. Example if the login fails, to be able to send information to client for the password failure. Similar to logger command, but to show it in the message menu of the client.
Running Virtualhere android server 3.6.6 with full license on Shield Android TV using Steam Link App for android (1.1.6) too access paperspace P5000 gaming vm with Virtualhere client version 4.5.3
Things I have tried are:
Setting public IP for paperspace should be enough but does not work.
Using IP address from paperspace windows network settings does not work.
Reverse clients does not work.
Applying all the usual workarounds simply has no effect.
On the VirtualHere USB Server Changes (2.7.5 onwards)
I saw:
3.6.2 (19th April 2018)

* Pi3B+ - will automatically ignore in-built usb ethernet adapter on the new Pi3B+
So I ordered some Pi3B+. After they arrived I went to the cloudhub download page and saw:
Raspberry Pi 3 Model B cloudhub-pi3-sdcard.zip (note: not compatible with the new 3B+ yet...)
Any idea when/if cloudhub will work on Pi3B+?
Please clarify: can I cancel Ignore device without having access to the server. And not having root access to it.

Hi Team,

I have a slightly unusual situation here. I'm trying to run multiple instances of the client, each in a different Windows Server 2012 R2 session, in order to be able to pipe attached USB devices from thin clients back to the users' RDP sessions on our server.

It seems the client has some sort of mutex restriction stopping more than one session at a time.

I'm not running the client as a service.

Any advice?
I'm using VirtualHere with OpenTPCast which make the VR headset's USB devices available locally. There's a whole bunch of them but it's the remote Mic that's giving me problems.
Things work perfectly fine after a fresh reboot of Windows. I can run VirtualHere, run SteamVR, etc and everything works great.
Until I exit SteamVR and turn off the VR headset. The remote hub disappears from the VH window (as expected of course) but if I then go to the Sound panel in the Windows 10 settings the panel will just hang forever the moment I switch to the "Recording" tab.
