High CPU usage in Windows Client

Forums

I am running 14 spectrometers on a RPi3 using Cloudhub and have tried both vhui64.exe and vhui32.exe on two different win7 PCs. On both, the CPU for the vhui task is around 14 %. It doesn't matter if it is running as a service or not. For reference, doing the same tasks with Coolgear USBG-4NET devices and the Windows USB Server.exe shows a CPU usage of 0%. A program that is doing extensive processing and graphing of the data from the spectrometers is showing a CPU usage of 2%.

Purchasing licenses when Servers are being firewalls and NAT

Forums

Dear support,
I would like to purchase licenses for Virtualhere Windows servers but because all my servers are VH Windows server are behind NAT/Firewall I need to use the ReverseClients setting in the ini-file to connect to the client. And this command I can only use if I have a valid license.

Please note that it is not possible to connect server and client before this as they are on difference sides of the world.

Looking forward to your answer.

With kind regards, CH

Hi,

Recently come across this little gem of software, bought the 3 user license "howver not currently added to the machine beacuse of the following issue.

I am running Windows Server 2012 R2, clients connecting are both physical and virtual
Initially i had a problem with server side was being stuck at 80% initialising. Hoever removing the service and reboot seemed to clear this.
However, now the software starts. Clients connect but nothing will successfully attach.
I have tried two sepereate Physical devices, with the same results.

RPi3 Problem

Forums

HI! I'm using the latest image 3.3.9 for Raspberry Pi 3. Unfortunately the VirtualHere Client for Windows cannot find any USB Hubs.
So I tried to set the IP manually ind VirtualHere Client, but I do not know the IP, I cannot find the RPi3 In my Network because the DHCP of my Router does not show any new devices. Tried with two different RPi3.
Any Ideas?

Windows 10 HTPC/Game Server & Xbox One wireless Controller (wired)

Forums

Hi

Hoping someone can help me here.

I've got two Windows 10 Pro machines, one is the HTPC and the other is the game server. I'd like to use Virtual here to enable me to play Windows Store games via steam streaming.

I've setup the client/server installations on both machines, and plugging in the Xbox wireless controller via a USB cable to the HTPC (VH Server), the client software detects and allows me to claim the device.

Broken: wired Xbox One controller, Linux server to Windows 10 client

Forums

I cannot get the Xbox One to be shared from Linux to Windows 10.

Linux running vhusbdx86_64 v3.3.9. Windows 10 running vhui64 4.2.5.

If I use the defaults in config.ini, the client shows a brief "in use by you" and then disconnects, and I get this on the server:

Raspberry Pi3 Server - Windows 10 64Bit Client UNABLE to 'see' Server!

Forums

Hello all from South Wales, UK :)

Firstly I must apologise for asking for basic help!! :)

I have installed the vhusbdarmpi3 on my Rasperry Pi3 and to be sure it's running, I left off the -b
My Pi is displaying: VirtualHere USB Server is running...press CTRL-C to stop

I've installed the 64Bit Client on my Windows 10 PC - VirtualHere Client for Windows (64-Bit Win7/Server2008R2 or later)
A VirtualHere window appears on the screen but it fails to see the Pi3 Server
