I'm trying to get my Kodak Alaris Scanmate i1150 document scanner. But there seems to be some communication missing between scanner and scan application.

My setup:
- QNAP TVS-882 with Virtualhere license
- Windows 10 Pro x64 virtual machine running on QNAP / Windows 7 Pro x64 standalone PC
- Kodak Alaris Scanmate i1150 connected to QNAP USB port

The setup for the scanner installs:
- scanner device drivers for windows
- TWAIN/ISIS drivers for comunication between device and scan application
- SmartTouch software as scan application

I have a new MacBook Pro and running the latest VH server (v3.2.8). It only has USB-C connectors.

I have a Win7 Virtual Box guest that is running the latest VH client (v4.0.0). I have a FTDI 232R device connected and is connected to the Win7 VM via VH, however the Win7 has problems enumerating the COM port.

I then changed tac, and ran VH server on an old raspberry pi, and the FTDI232R connected to it. The Win7 VM connected fine and enumerated a COM port.

When I try installing Virtualhere as a service on my Windows 2012R2 server i get this error:
VirtualHere Client Usb Sharing service StartService failed, error 2 (cannot find the file specified).

My windows server is a virtual machine hosted on hyper V.
The virtualhere server is on raspberry pi.

I try the installation from the command line (with administrator previlages) using "vhui64.exe -b".
Before that I installed the drivers, the client application works fine.

Do you have any idea what can cause the problem ?

I'm not a licensed user YET, but if I can get this to work properly, then it stands to reason that I will want an optimized version.

I'm using a Native Instruments Audio8 interface, which I have plugged into my Google Pixel phone. (Android 7.11). I'm connected to a Linksys router which is capable of N speeds throughout my network.

I accidentally installed virtualhere at the wrong RPI (got two of them). Now I want to uninstall that instance! what command do I need to use.

I just bought Virtualhere, and it does not seems to work in my environment.

I am trying to run the client as a service on 32 bit WinXP. If I use the contextual menu option to Install as a Client, I get an error that the executable cannot be found. The path is shown as [][]|Program Files\VirtualHere\vhui32.exe Where [][] is two boxes and the real drive is C:.

I also tried installing the service manually, as in sc create... But, I can't seem to find the right way to enter the -i argument.

I needed remote access to a Motorola radio to update/change the programming. I use a Prolific usb to TTL Serial cable and all other attempts to set this up had failed. I now have a Pi at the radio site and can use Win-XP remotely (required for the ancient software) to program the radio.

I was looking forward to using my Logitech G25 wheel via Steam Streaming. However although the driver's are installed on both server (Win 10 x64) and client (Win 10 x64) PCs, I am unable to get VirtualHere working.

The connection from client to server works fine and I can successfully use other devices including a multi-card reader and the USB mouse. When I attempt to use the G25, I get a message on the client (something like "Unable to connect" or "An error occurred" and the server log shows a failed capture with the reason "CreateFile failed".

So, my goal is to stream the mic from my USB gaming headset over the internet (via nvidia shield ATV) to my PC for use with in game chat and have the sound sent back from the PC via gamestream to the shield and then back to my headset.
