Auto-use fails after a random time

Forums

Hi Michael,

I have to bother you again with another question. I am using Virtualhere on 10 Raspberry Pis. Seven are RasPis 2B+ and the other three are RasPis 3 B 1.2. All are connected fine over a VPN to a windows machine. All are on auto-use, to enable a scheduled task on the windows machine to download data once an hour. That works absolutely fine for the Raspberry Pi 2. But all three Raspberry Pi 3 are losing the "auto-use" option after a while, and therefore no data is downloaded.
Do you have an idea what could cause this and how I might be able to fix that?

Windows 10 x64 Server, OSX 10.11 iPhone BIND_ERROR

Forums

Hello,

I am attempting to share iPhone plugged into Windows 10 x64 laptop to OSX Mac Mini running 10.11.6. OSX client sees the server and the Windows Hub, and sees the iPhone. When I right-click iPhone and select use, I keep getting the following message on the OSX machine:

"There was a error sharing this device."

EPSON V700 and OSX 10.12

Forums

Hi,

Like the product working well on Synology, Pi, Windows.

Have Epson V700 scanner attached to Synology, Windows machines with VirtualHere find it fine and working perfectly.

On OSX 10.12 (and indeed prior versions) get "cannot communicate with scanner error". VueScan does identify a V700 scanner but won't do anything with it, I get a -9923 communication error.

Device shows fine in VirtualHere on OSX, and can assign it to the OSX machine and de-assign it all okay.

Any ideas?

Raspberrypi client binding devices at boottime

Forums

I run a Raspberrypi2 as a VirtualHere-Server with unlimited license.
The Client runs as a daemon on a RaspberryPi2/3 .
Til now I have to bind the devices of the server to the client after booting the client-machine manually.
What have I to do that the needed devices are bound automatically?

Thanks for Your help!
