Support for VirtualHere hardware and software

Server: XenServer 7 (Centos 7.2) Client: Win10 VM: Service will not start in the client (Shows as stopped)

Forums

I am able to run the Client manually, but it will not run as a service.
It says it installed and that it is running, but when I look in services, it is stopped. If I try to start it from services, it goes immediately back to stopped.
There are no events in the event viewer.

Solution was to uninstall as a service and reinstall.
vhui64.exe -u
Successfully Removed
vhui64.exe -b
Successfully Installed and Started (This time it actually started)

Need USB server in downloads directory to boot

Forums

As a complete novice I watched a youtube video then downloaded and ran the USB server in the Downloads directory instead of moving it to /usr/sbin . Now I want the usb server to boot on startup. Will it boot on startup if I CD to the downloads directory and add the following?

wget http://www.virtualhere.com/sites/default/files/usbserver/scripts/vhusbd…
sudo chmod +x ./vhusbdpin
sudo mv vhusbdpin /etc/init.d
sudo update-rc.d vhusbdpin defaults
sudo reboot

Client not working on Win XP (SP2) running in VirtualBox on Mac OS

Forums

I am trying to run VirtualHere client on a 32 bit Win XP (SP2) installation running as a virtual machine in VirtualBox. VirtualBox is running on an old MacBook Pro which is running Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan) (64 bit).

VirtualHere USB server is running in Mac OS.
When I run VirtualHere client in the virtual Win XP it starts up and shows the 'USB Hubs' icon in its window but nothing else (ie no USB devices).

Remote Virtual Here Setup Xbox One Controller

Forums

So I have been frustrated the past year trying to stream Xbox One through Nvidia Shield Tablet. Using this software is the closest I have come to successfully getting this to work. Locally when using virtualhere inside my network the Xbox One controller shows up correctly. I have it plugged in USB to the tablet running the server on my shield tablet and the client on my PC. The hub shows up and I enable the controller. Windows detects it and it displays correctly. It shows up as "Xbox Peripherals" - Xbox Controller.

VirtualHere Xbox One Wireless controller odd behaviour

Forums

Hi

I setup the virtualhere through a Raspberry Pi 2 server, by using vhusbdarmpi2. Everything works nice, and my xbox controller works also. The odd behavior is with vibrations. When something has to vibrate shortly in-game, the vibrations continue long after the moment has passed, even after going in to the game menus.

Any suggestions?

For now I have turned them off, but I would like to play and use the vibrations of the controller.
