Licensed server, but only 1 device is shared at a time
Hello,
I am running win8.1 x64 and using the 64 bit client (3.3.4) I can see my hub and the shared device. I am running a android server(2.6.5) and although I can see range of devices, I can only select one device at a time. I have licensed the server and it shows the unlimited devices message but I can only share one device at a time. The UI of the server only lets me select one device at a time and it just replaces out the most recent device to be shared.
What is going on here?
Linux client generates high load on server and has data corruption
Server installed on raspberrypi 1 and 2, two different usb devices tested. Windows and OS X clients work correct (2-10% cpu on server) but the Linux client gives data corruption and generates a high load on the server (40-95%). The linux client logs:
is it supporting elicenser, and ilok?
Hi
according to this thread, https://www.virtualhere.com/node/514, a windows client is not guaranteed to work properly on elicenser (cubase).
I'm wondering that still it is not supported.
i'm using NAS server and Windows client.
I'm going to buy a license for virtualhere if it works with cubase dongle and ilok.
Thanks.

Hi there!
I have been trying in vain to get this to work with my Macs in the studio. Here's the setup:
Main Mac:
8 core 2008 Mac Pro running USB Server, connected to network over Ethernet, via BT Home Hub 5. My iLok is plugged into the back of the Mac...
Mobile Mac:
Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013 running USB Client, connected to network over WiFi, via BT Home Hub 5.

Timed shutdown and restart of QNAS TS-212P with QTS 4.2 gets problematic with VirtualHere

Hi,

I had a ticket at the QNAP support for my NAS box TS-212P running QTS 4.2, because every morning after a timed shutdown/startup of the box in the night, I got an email with a warning, that the file system of the RAID-1 volume is not clean.

The QNAP support advised to disable the CloudLink app and to uninstall the VirtualHere app.

I tried first by disabling both applications and than to re-enable first VirtualHere and then CloudLink.

Consistent Bus/Hub/Port Naming
Hi, I'm trying to bind certain ports on the server to different clients, for example:
Server:
Port A
Port B
Port C
Port D
Client 1:
Bound to Port A and Port B
Client 2:
Bound to Port C
Client 3:
Bound to Port D
This way users can plug and unplug any device they want into their allocated ports without having to mess around with the command line (clients are running as services on Windows). There is only one server, added via Avahi and using SSL.
