Having trouble with 3D printer

Forums

Hello,

I have a Flashforge Dreamer that I've tried accessing through both a QNAP NAS and a Netgear ReadyNAS system. Things look more or less normal and functional (in that the computer [Windows 10, though I've also tried on a Windows 8.1 unsuccessfully] sees the printer and the drivers are correctly added) but none of my printer software sees the USB device. I'm using Flashprint and Simplify3D.

Gui client on linux !=ubuntu 14.04

Forums

hello,

I'v tried both the gui client (for ubuntu 14.04) and the console client on another linux i have...and obviously i find the Gui much easier and userfriendly.
So my question is , in which case could the ubuntu binary work on another distribution, : mine is mageia and the client could not run ...but may be this is because something simple needs to be installed which is by default on ubuntu and not in my distro ... (?), is there something simple i could try to make it work ? in principle binaries work on all system with the same architecture ...(?)

thanks

Steam Link beta + Virtualhere + Thrustmaster T150?

Forums

Been browsing and troubleshooting but something is still wrong.

When I plug the wheel into the steam link (the wheel works fine on my pc), it fails to install the drivers properly. I did a manual driver install, and now the error it gives me is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". The drivers are up to date and the exact same as they are when plugged straight into the pc.

Im out of instructions now, been browsing many posts but maybe im just not tech savvy enough to pick up whats wrong.

USB devices on Raspberry Pi keep disconnecting

Forums

Hello,
I am using VirtualHere on a raspberry pi 1 to share some software licensing dongles to several Windows clients. It has been working pretty well over all, but for one client in particular, we haven't been able to stay connected to the server for more than 10 minutes or so. It seems like the amount of time that it will stay connected varies randomly between 10 seconds and 10 minutes. We are running client version 3.3.5 and server version 2.6.7. The log from the server looks like this:

OSX Server with El Capitan (10.11.2)

Forums

Apologies if this has been asked before. I cannot seem to host a device through the OSX server on my MacBook Pro with 10.11.2 and receive the input on my Windows 7 client. The client see's the device fine and connects to it but doesn't seem to receive any input from it.

Am I doing something wrong or is it just not supported yet? I have made sure Windows has the proper drivers to recognize the device when it is connected. Again, apologies if this is a duplicate, I couldn't seem to search for any similar questions.

Thanks!
