VirtualHere Server for Windows?

Forums

Greetings. I was wondering if there were any plans to offer a server binary for Windows. A good use case for this would be Hyper-V. Specifically, giving a VM access to a USB device plugged into the physical Hyper-V server.

Vmware does this with USB passthrough. Hyper-V is not as mature and does not offer this feature. VirtualHere could solve this problem.

Thanks!

Mavericks client not working

Forums

I'm giving VIrtualhere a try before buying a licence, but I have an strange issue :

virtual Usb device isn't working on OS X Mavericks, but the same device works perfectly on my Windows 8.1 64 bits box.

All I have in the OS X system.log after trying to use the device (Canon pixma 9500) is the following messages :

disable autosuspend fixes some issues

Hi, on my Beaglebone with Ubuntu the Virtualhere-server works fine but after a while dmesg is full of usb related messages and the Virtualhere-client shows no usb-devices anymore => http://nopaste.info/244dc8d095.html i think usb-autosuspend deactivate all my usb devices after a while... replugging dosen't work, sometimes one device shows up but only a reboot really fix it for a while.

Here's a strange one:

I set up an Ubuntu server to share a USB device to my Mac running Mavericks 10.9.2 and the VirtualHere.app.

Worked like a charm! So, so awesome.

In a heart beat I ordered a Raspberry Pi to make that the main sharing "machine" instead.

But with this one, there's no love. The Raspberry Hub and my iPod shows up under USB Hubs, but when I connect to it, nothing happens except my my console continually outputs the following lines:

Some Questions

Forums

maybe i've a problem...
I want to purchase a licence for my BeagleBone Black but the cpu serial number contains only zeros (BeagleBoneBlack,s/n=0000000000000000,1 device) and only the RPI server works on it (installed ubuntu and maybe this is the problem)
if all this is no problem how should i buy the licence? with the beaglebone option or the raspberry pi option? and the whole sting or just the cpu serial?
