Hello,

I have two Mac machines (macOS 15.0) running on the same LAN.

I connected my iPad (iOS 17.6.1) to one Mac machine and ran the Virtual Here server on it.

I then ran the Virtual Here client on the other Mac machine. I can see the iPad listed on the Virtual Here client, but after using it, I still cannot see the iPad on the macOS Finder.

Have I missed a step in the process?

Hello. Thank you for the convenient and simple program, but during the setup process some questions arose that I couldn’t figure out on my own

1. Is it possible in Windows to use authorization using two passwords for two different devices via a bat file, without using python, powershell and others?

2. When running the program as a service, Windows does not process the auth.bat authorization file. When the service is disabled and started manually, the authorization file is used and connections are made according to the parameters entered in it

I have been succesfully using Virtualhere Server/Client on two Windows_10 machines since September 2022. Three FTDIChip COM ports and one Silicon Labs device (with CP210x Universal Windows Driver) generating two COM ports. I have been using Silicon Labs drivers on both Windows_10 machines with no problem for two years.

I use VirtualHere server on my android set top box (similar to a shield TV) to tunnel my controllers to my PC because steam link accumulates input lag so I have to restart every so often. I've used it a lot with my G29 wheel and it feels nice and was easy enough to set up.

However I have a hard time with my controllers. I use cheap wireless controllers Snakebyte Gamepad Pro (they connect through a USB dongle).

First, I want to congratulate you on the amazing work! The software you offer is fantastic!

The issue is that when I use the Moza R5 through VirtualHere, the game freezes at the start of a race. When it’s connected via cable (20 meters), this problem doesn’t occur. Other games like Forza Motorsport 8, Dirt Rally 2.0, etc works perfectly.

I'm using a Pi Zero 2W with a wired connection. The latency is between 1 and 2 milliseconds.

Settings I’ve tried without success include CompressionLimit and ClaimPorts.

I am using VirtualHere client for Windows (5.7.8) to connect to the Server (latest version) on a ChromeCast with Google TV. It used to work without any problems a few months ago, but since one of the latest updates on my CCwGTV the Client cannot connect to the server anymore. 

Client says:

While the server responds:

I have a Windows 10 computer with vhusbdwin64.exe v4.6.0 installed via the Microsoft Store (big mistake as I now have learned).

Apparently vhusbdwin64 was upgraded automatically to v4.7.0 (or someone else manually upgraded without my knowledge).

Since then we have SUPRISE UNBOUND messages when we try to use most devices connected to the Windows computer.

Is there a way to monitor the status of USB devices to identify users who are connected to a device but are not actively using it? If these users can be identified, the administrator can disconnect them to save resources. For instance, some USB dongles may be occupied for extended periods without actual use by the users connected to them, leading to wastage.

PICO4 VR uses Android 10 or higher OS, but it works because it uses a modified OS. For Android smartphones, is there a way to bypass the wired keyboard and mouse restrictions? I'm currently using a rooted Android 14 tablet.

I'm using a Raspberry Pi 1 B+ with a USB WiFi adapter. The device connects to the network normally right after installation. My intention is to use this device to connect to the network, not to share it with clients. The Windows client can detect the USB devices connected on the server side, including the USB WiFi adapter, until I restart the Raspberry Pi. After the restart, the USB WiFi adapter stops working. I tried adding 'IgnoredDevices' to the config.ini file, but the issue persists.
