omniedge kmod-tun kernel incompability

Forums

Hello!

Thank you very much for your software, it has been very helpful to me!

I bought the GL-AR300M16 and purchased the respective license, and everything is working correctly through the VIRTUALHERE Client.

I want to put the GL-AR300M16 on a OmniEdge network.

However, I can't establish the connection because the kmod-tun module is not available.

After checking, I tried to install the module from the repository, but it is not compatible:

System kernel GL-AR300M16 - 5.10.161-1-0cf1e7da5632aa193437f0c099c566cd

VH Can Not Use Latest Drivers for Thrustmaster T500 RS Wheel

Forums

Latest firmware/driver bundle for Thrustmaster T500 RS can not be seen on win 10 pc client side when hooked up to android tv server.

Have tried the standalone server/clients and the steam link/steam versions of VH; all give same result in that android detects Thrustmaster FFB device which gets passed through but it can not start on client pc because of driver issues.

Windows 10 VirtualHere server and windows client 10 VirtualHere client not connecting

Forums

I have just installed the server on a windows 10 computer. It seems to be working.

I installed the client on a laptop on the same network but the autodetect doesn't do anything. When I put in the IP and port, it cannot connect.

I have rebooted the machines but it still does not work.

Please help?

Setup reverse client using IPv6

Forums

I'm trying to use reverse client functionality between my Mac and Win 10. I added the following line to the server config:

ReverseClients=[2003:f0:XXXX:8800:6faa:d332:23f9:XXXX]

The server log then says the following:

Tue Feb 28 19:24:31 2023 LOG_WARNING Error 'nodename nor servname provided, or not known' (8) calling getaddrinfo for reverse client [2003:f0:XXXX:8800:6faa:d332:23f9:XXXX]

I wonder if calling getaddrinfo is even necessary in this case?

RetroFlag Pro Controller

Forums

I am having an issue with my retroflag handheld controller for switch where the product and vendor ID both become 0x0000 and thus is not recognised by windows, where it should be 0x057E and 0x2009. Other usb devices I have tested that do work are a dualsense controller and an xbox one wireless receiver.

Logitech mice and keyboards not working

Forums

I have a Logitech keyboard with trackpad that uses a Logitech unifying receiver. I am using an Android tablet as the host and a Windows 10 desktop as a client. I was able to use this keyboard with trackpad fine for years but it stopped working a couple weeks ago. It shows up in the VirtualHere Client and says it's in use, but the device does not respond to any input. I can then plug the receiver directly into the desktop and it works. A bluetooth receiver and Xbox One receiver continue to work fine through Virtualhere.

Error when using slow-starting device

Forums

Hello,

I am using a VKB joystick with VirtualHere. When the joystick is already connected server-side, when starting the client

- I see the joystick rebooting (it embeds a micro-controller with LEDs)
- Client side, I got a 'Error using this device' pop-up
- Then the joystick finishes it boot sequence, and it becomes correctly used by the client.

I guess that the latency introduced by its microcontroller boot is the culprit for this error message.

Here are the server-side logs:
