Troublesome USB token device

Forums

Hello

Maybe someone can advise on the problem. I have a composite usb device (token) that runs a web server that creates tls tunnel and uses stored key pairs for authentication. It was developed specifically for windows systems.

When i run a windows server and connect to windows client - everything works decent. Once i try the linux one to windows client - system hangs, loads, freezes(especially explorer.exe) and in fact the device is not recognized in the system(after 5 or 10min system unfreezes).

Error, couldnt find CM_Unregister_Notification when listening for COM port plug/unplug

Forums

Hi Michael,

I've recently had an issue regarding client v5.5.2, as described and fixed here:

https://www.virtualhere.com/node/3971

After upgrading to version v5.5.3, I get a different error when starting the client:

Error, couldnt find CM_Unregister_Notification when listening for COM port plug/unplug

Guest and host fighting over USB SD card reader

Forums

Hi There.
I have a fully licenced VH server running on a windows 10 pro host.
Inside a VM on that host I have a 10 pro guest I'm using for some development.
It all works great for programming and debugging my ESP32 and zilog chips, which appear as multiple devices popping up and vanishing all the time.
Really loving the security and versatility of the whole setup.

Xbox Wireless Controller unresponsive after reconnecting

Forums

Server: NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro 2019 running VirtualHere Server 4.5.8 (Build 1067)
Client: Windows 11 Pro PC (22H2) running VirtualHere Client 5.5.1

On my SHIELD, I use an Xbox Wireless Controller that's connected via the official Xbox Wireless Adapter. The controller runs Microsoft's latest firmware (5.17.3202.0), and the Windows drivers for the controller and adapter are up to date.

Logitech C920 performance issues - Rpi4

Forums

Hello,

I'm finding I have trouble when connecting to my C920 webcam over virtualhere - interestingly it's fine in the logitech configuration app - but opening the videostream in zoom, meet or the camera app causes the virtualhere connection to tank, with mouse and keyboard movements barely registering or missing entirely. the webcam itself shows a frame every second or two. This persists until the window is closed and the webcam image is dropped.
