Support for VirtualHere hardware and software
Good day.
I'm trying to use client Vhui64 on windows server 2016.
I get errors in log:
Hello there,
I'm trying to connect a laser to lightburn software on a Mac running Ventura 13.1. The server is working on an RPi 3B+, and the client seems to work well.
When I tried to connect to a USB drive, I got the following (but at least the USB thumb drive connects on Windows and the lightburn connection partially works):
The win10 client and server share multiple devices for multiple clients to connect (1200). After the client circularly tests the remote ukey switch connection, the virtual driver will occasionally fail to be uninstalled, and the device has been disconnected, but the local display device driver still exists. When the client connects to the next shared device, it will encounter recognition exceptions, All subsequent remote devices may not be correctly identified. At present, this situation can only be restored after restarting the computer.
I'm connecting a DualSense Edge to my licensed Nvidia Shield via USB and it seems like VirtualHere can't see this device.
I get the permission requests, say yes, but nothing ever shows up on the client side.
Tried the same with an xbox controller and it showed up right away.
Any clue what I can do ?
Hi. Does the server Serial Number VirtualHere uses on Raspberry Pis change with reinstallation of Linux, or does it stay consistent on the same hardware? If I reinstall Linux, or switch between the different versions of Linux, can I then simply enter my activation code for the server again or would I need to contact support every time? Is there a difference between the different models of Raspberry Pi?
Hi,
When I connect my phone to a device I can not connect to it from the pc because I have problems with the installation of the driver in the Windows Device Administrator.
It appears as unknown USB device and if I try to update or modificate it Windows tell me eveything is ok. A message in brackets appears: "Descriptor de configuración no válido" I think the translation is a Not Validate Configuration Descriptor.
Do you know how I can solve?
Thanks in advance.
Rocio
Hello, I've seen that one device can't be shared with multiple clients but can a single server share multiple devices with multiple clients(each device only plugs into one computer)? My use case is a flight simulator with multiple touch screens and other interfaces that are USB but need to be plugged into different computers, it would be nice to run a single ethernet cord to the cockpit in a raspberry pi that has them all plugged in vice multiple USB cords to multiple hubs like I have today.
i have virtualhere on my ds218j synology nas (DSM6). I have a new computer (windows 11 pro ) that does not recognize sentinel hasp. when i connect directly the hasp to to my computer everything works fine. when i connect my hasp to nas , the client sees the hasp but windows device manager show a yellow triangle.
any idea what is wrong?
Hi,
Is there a possibility or can it be implemented that you can choose which networkcard the program uses to communicate? For example I have 3 NIC's and when I am copying data It uses NIC 1 and then I want to use Virtualhere client on NIC2 and on NIC3 is for example a VM running.
I ask it as Virtualhere uses always my primary NIC and the audio of headset etc can be disrupted...
Hi, I´ve installed virtual here on the NAS and the client on the Laptop.
How is it possible to connect to the USB when I´m outside from my private LAN.
Can I do this with quickconnct?
I have a static public IP.
Thanks for your help
