Unrecognised device after Asustor ADM 4.0.0 update

Forums

Hi Guys,

After updating from ADM 3.5 to ADM 4.0.0 VirtualHere dies not work properly anymore. NAS model: AS1004T
While trying to use an MP600 canon printer
I was first getting :

2021-11-13T10:20:08.123371+01:00 Philous-NAS vhusbd[7591]: Error -1 resetting device 0x04a9/0x1718 for capture

The after uninstalling and restarting the NAS I'm now getting:

OpenWRT image with VirtualHere installed for the TP-Link MR3040 v2?

Forums

Hi Michael,

Just got this working on my MR3040 v2 with my Saitek X-55 stick and throttle...so stoked that I bought the license immediately!
I have been hunting for an OpenWRT image with the right VirtualHere server binary included because as you know the MR3040 is only a 4mb device so I can't copy the file to permanent storage. Copying it over to /temp and running it every time I boot is a pain!
I know I can extend the file system using a flash drive and a USB hub, but I think it's a bit janky and overcomplicated.

Licensing model feedback

Forums

My use case is kind of the reverse of the current licensing model. I want to have a Mac mini at home with no USB devices connected. Occasionally, when I am out I want to connect an iPhone to either my Surface Pro or Android tablet or another PC, use Xcode on the Mac mini through remote screen sharing (VNC or whatever) and deploy on my iPhone which I have with me. It would make more sense to pay for the Mac Mini license which is the client according to your model but in my case that is really the server.
