Time limit for device use

Forums

We have 3 USB devices being served up for use. We have enabled SSL for access, due to issues with losing connection over VPN.

The USBs connections are no longer being disconnected when inactive due to a stable connection.

Is it possible to setup the server to release a device after a period of time, or from non-use after a period of time.

Example: Client 1 has USB1 in use over SSL. After 4 hours he needs to "re-borrow" the device, or if he is not actively using the device after 15min, he releases the device automatically.

Is this possible ?

Older versions

Forums

Hello,

I am looking to find an older version of VH that seems to work with the hardware I have. The newer versions do not seem to work. I am looking for 2.6.9.0 32-bit windows client.

Please let me know if I am able to find it somewhere.

The server is Windows 10 x64 computer and the client is a Windows 10 x64

Vive facial tracker, high latency and loss of packages

Forums

Using Oculus Quest 2 with a Vive facial tracker.
Both on my phone and Quest, VirtualHere seems to be skipping frames (the facial tracker is essentially a camera), the tracker when normally plugged in using usb shows very tiny movements, but using VirtualHere it seems to be skipping all small changes. There is also around 1 second of latency which isn't there when using USB.

Has VirtualHere recently updated their camera compression to remove these smaller changes or is there something wrong with my setup?

Possible to use 1 client to connect to two servers

Forums

Hi,

Suppose i have to raspberry pi's on different location's (one in the garden and one in the cellar) but in the same network. Can ik connect to both pi's at the same time from one client (W10-x64)?
Is it correct that the license is bound to the client? So this config would count for one (1) license?

Regards,
Edwin
