Logicool F710 X Input mode biding error (Xna Compositor needed?)

Forums

Good Evening,

Thanks for having a supporting forum related to VirtualHere.

I have a question related to Xna Composite drivers:

When I switch my Logicool F710 gamepad to X Input, I get a biding error. I checked the VirtualHere server info and It says that It couldn't download Xna Composite drivers (I have no access to internet).

I would like to double ckeck If I really need that drivers and if you can help me downloading the official one.

I cannot access VirtualHere link:

S/N Changed

Forums

Hi,

I noticed that my Nvidia Shield Virtualhere server had defaulted back to only 1 device. When I've checked my license it seems that the S/N has changed so the license isnt accepted any more.

Is this normal, I would have thought the S/N would always be static?

Thanks.

Connecting to USB Hub... but unable to connect

Forums

I'm a newby here but frustratingly unable to connect within a LAN -

Client: Win 10 wired ethernet -> switch -> router with DHCP (Edgerouter X)
Server: Win 10 laptop wifi -> AP -> same router with DHCP (Edgerouter X)

On the client, periodically the message will pop up "Connecting to USB Hub..." and while it's on screen I can right click - Properties and see that it has found the Server's IP address and port 7575... but then the message disappears from screen. System Messages on the client looks like this:

OSX USB (AS LICENSE) DEVICE HELP

Forums

Greetings,
I tried with both 10.13.6 and 10.14.6:

I bound a USB thumb drive as my "activation host" to software, for licensing. Think ilok. The software I'm using recognizes my USB thumb drive for licensing when inserted directly into the client computer. However, the software doesn't recognize the USB thumb drive when inserted in the Virtualhere server computer.

On the server computer (OSX), the USB thumb drive is recognized in the (system report -> USB -> USB Device Tree).

Some peripherals have a lot of latency

Forums

Test scenario was as follows

Two peripherals:
1. Logitech G305
2. Razer Turret (The old 2016 model)

Server HW used:
1. RPI Zero W (over WIFI)
2. RPI 3b (over eth)

Client:
- Windows connected via eth

The Logitech G305 performed really well on all clients and network connections.
Latency was noticeable but still good enough for couch-gaming.

Connecting to Virtual Here with my own software

Forums

Hello,

I am trying VirtualHere for the first time.

It is installed on a RasPi on my local network.

The USB device connected receives and transmits serial strings at 115200BAUD

I also have a laptop running Windows 10 and my own software developped with Delphi.

I use a Indy TUDPServer that Broadcast and listens on a UDP port presently set at 1241.

Which port does VirtualHere use for serial passthrough?

Many thanks,
E.

WIN 10 driver issue with wireless XBOX

Forums

Hello,

I have an issue with VH and my wireless xbox one controller.

To explain, on the same network I have 1 small computer under my TV and 1 computer in my other room.
The small one has the VH server installed with the wireless usb plugged in, and the other pc has the client version installed.
Pairing between wireless dongle and controller has been done on both computer.
Xbox wireless dongle is seen as "XBOX ACC" in the windows hub list

Can't start server on OSX

Forums

Hello,

I have downloaded the dmg file, opened it, and dragged it to applications folder. When I now double click on the VirtualHereServer icon in Applications, instead of starting the server, it opens a window asking me to install osxsdriver. I installed it but didn't helped me any further.
What am I missing out here?
