Hello, wanted to confirm if the hostaneme/MAC which we use need to taken out of server side or client side?
because we could only see this option on client side. but on the webpage it says for server?

I've got a copy of VirtualHere on an RPi4 connected to a Windows and MiSTer Linux client. Works well for the most part, but over wi-fi I get the occasional (every X0 seconds) pause where no input is detected or the last input is held for a few seconds. That part isn't surprising; it's wi-fi after all.

How can I identify and passwordprotect each token if they have no serial?

I have tried to use path as device idetificator, but it changes when I unplug and plug any token back.

I am trying to add access to WSL2 hosted on Windows Insider 11 with a USB serial FTDI cable connected to COM5.
There its a github procedure descrived here: www.github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/5158.
When executing the:
$ sudo ./vhui64 in a terminal in WSL2 I am gettng the following message:

I am using a Shadow pc (cloud gaming computer) and it's impossible for me to use my G29 wheel on it. So i created a Virtualhere server to manage this issue.

But... It seems that a driver is missing to use this device. Is there an other way to dowload this special driver ?

So I purchased Virtualhere and the DLC on the Steam Store for the Steam Link Hardware device. I have 4 USB devices set to share. When I start streaming I am able to use 3 of my 4 USB devices (Mic, Keyboard, Mouse), but my SD Card reader does not show up. I see it on the Steam Link, I just do not have access to it. I think though that the problem is that Virtualhere is not actually installing. I have nothing running in the bottom right, no install notifications, and nothing running called Virtualhere.

I have Logitech G29 with H-shifter with custom Scania Shifter extension (Arduino Leonardo) device. Also I have Raspberry PI4b with official OS on a board. I have installed Steam Link which, potentially, should work fine with VirtualHere on PI devices.
I bought VirtualHere in Steam with unlimited extension (because I need to share mouse + keyboard + shifter in a separate USB + G29 - 4 devices totally). 1Gbit Ethernet at the home - should be enought.

who had the problem of spontaneous change of serial number in VirtualHere?
as a result, the license is not valid.

Hi I have my virtualhere Server running on a Synology NAS sucessfully for years now.
My windows Clients ( Win7 and Win10 ) working very good on several laptops and desktops over a VPN connection, Keysight dongle, IAR dongle, Pulsonix dongle.
All of them working smoothly.

Is it possible to always block the USB device on the server side (Windows) ?
