Cubase e-licencer error on USB Server (Windows server, Mac client)

Forums

Happy New Year everyone,

I'm trying to get VH working for a reasonably recent version of Cubase (10.5 Pro) so that I dont have to faff about with the dongle and/or can run Cubase remotely.

I have VH installed OK and running on my (Windows10 64bit) server, and the e-licencer dongle plugged in OK. And I have the VH client installed and running OK on the Macbook Pro where Cubase 10.5 Pro is installed.

CloudHub GL-AR150 Change Port Number?

Forums

I have the GL-AR150 with the custom firmware flashed onto it, and I was able to change it to a static IP, but I am not seeing the option anywhere to change the port number to something else instead of 7575. I have the free license for now because I am just testing it, When I SSH into it to see if there's any other options it's asking for a user/password and I'm not sure where that is. My client is a Windows client.

I see other posts asking about this but they are using Windows USB servers, etc, not these Cloudhub units.

Thanks

Steam for Linux: VirtualHere as purchased through Steam quits immediately; no GUI or errors

Forums

I've been trying to get my PC to recognise a webcam so that I can use non-steam software like Zoom and Skype from the living room rather than my desk. While I've been through the suggested routes (sharing the device through the Steam Link, then starting streaming), nothing appears as recognised on the computer.
I purchased the VirtualHere software through Steam, but when I click on it to run, it says 'running' for maybe half a second and then goes back to 'launch'. No error messages are given, no GUI appears.
What am I doing wrong?

OSX admin mode

Forums

Hi,

I need to disconnect a user from a device remotely.
Can you please give a simple example of how to run the OSX client in admin mode so I can do this.

I've read the FAQ's and Im still lost.

my osx client is located in
/Applications/VirtualHere.app/Contents/MacOS/VirtualHere

VirtualHere server is running in Ubuntu on a Pi 4, and the clients are both on OSX 10.13.6

Thanks in advance

Blue Screen on Windows 10 Pro Build 19041

Forums

When attempting to connect a client device from a Mac OS server, my computer blue-screens with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION in vhusb3hc.sys

"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff80072a66572, 0xffff860692b5c940, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 9bcd9c18-380b-4505-91a9-624035a51cba."

The windows OS is running in a Byhve VM, so I was looking for a solution to pass through USB over the network to make up for the lack of hardware USB passthrough.
