Ubuntu client - libusb can't configure/claim/bind to iphone

Forums

This software is amazing and it works like charm for android phones.

It also looks like its working with Iphone (can be seen with lsusb, and vh says In-use by you), but libmobiledevice does not see Iphone attached.

Seems like its issue with libusb, it can't set configuration (below), is that solveable? Would it work if client was mac instead linux?

RPI4 with dual UVC cameras (512x640) has erratic image

Forums

Hello Michael,

We have a setup with two UVC compliant cameras (512x640 rgb) (FLIR BOSON ir cameras) attached to the same Pi4. The cameras are read-out sequentially, VID0, VID1, VID0, VID1,,, Obviously we use the licensed version and it is started like this:
sudo ./vhusbdarmpi4
Both client (Win10/64b) and server are the latest from the website as of 2021-02-20

We see an erratic behavior in the way that
1) sometimes an image is black,
2) sometimes one image is replicated to the other cameras display - giving two identical displays.

Wii remotes with VirtualHere and rpi 3b+

Forums

I tried running virtualhere with a wii remote on a rpi3b+, and it seems to work fine. But once I connect more then one wii remote, I start getting really bad latency with the wii remotes. I tried running the virtualhere server on a seperate rpi4 without a gamestream running, it had the same bad latency. Is it possible to stream more then one wii remote? I also tried a local network steam link. The rpi's were on a remote network using the reverseclients option. The steam link also had the same latency issues

Xbox wireless adapter

Forums

I'm having trouble getting my Xbox Wireless Adapter to enter "pairing" mode when plugged in to my nvidia Shield (2019 pro).

When I plug it in, it appears to be recognized by the server on the Shield and passed to the client on my windows 10 host.

It also recognizes the adapter and drivers are properly installed.

When I try to connect turn on the controller though, the light never turns on for the adapter.

I have already connected my controller to the adapter dongle directly from a win 10 pc and it works as expected.

VirtualHere drops connection after some seconds over Steam Link

Forums

My wireless Microsoft all-in-one keyboard drops connection if it stays idle for 10 seconds and I must re-enable it again and keep in mind to not leave the keyboard or the mouse idle more than ten seconds.
I just bought VirtualHere and I think this is a major issue.

Can you please advise?

Thank you in advance

Linux server process owner

Forums

Hi,
Just a quick question. Does the Linux Virtualhere server need to run as root or can it be run as a user with lower privileges? I think there may be hints around the place that it needs to be root, and I can imagine that it may need to be in order to be able to access the usb hardware, but I can't see it explicitly stated anywhere.
Many thanks.
