Disconnect client from device

Forums

Hello Michael. I can't seem to find the the corresponding event on the server event list that you give, for the event that occurres when a user asks for the disconnection of another client. I what to make a script for checking the privilege of the user asking the disconnection. As discussed previously for the server rename and device nickname changes, three parameters needed for the client script is ClientID, ClientIP kicker, and the exit code to be specified in order to accept our reject the event.

VirtualHere Server does not release USB?

Forums

I have a program on the VirtualHere server that (also) sends commands to a USB device. Note: Only only application will ever connect to a USB device at a time. I'm not trying to have simultaneous access to the device from more than one client.

This works until a VH client ever connects to a USB device via vhusbarm. Killing and starting vhusbarm does not seem to work. My only workaround is to restart the entire server.

hi,
My use case is the following.
I use Nvidia Shield TVs in my 3 living area and use Nvidia Gamestream for PC based gaming. The PC is in a closed cabinet away from the 3 living areas.
I have a SingStar USB adaptor and have used the trial license of VirtualHere server (Tried this on both a remote Linux and Windows PC) to inject the USB device into the the Gamestream PC server.

Can't connect to USB Flash Drive, but can to other USB devices

Forums

I am trying a simple setup, 1 client and one server.

Server: Windows 10 v2004 x64 Home; VirtualHere Server 4.1.8
Client: Windows 10 v2004 x64 Pro; VirtualHere Client 5.0.5

I changed firewall rules so client and server can see each other via Bonjour; client enumerates USB devices on the server. Client can see the following:
- USB Mouse
- USB Keyboard
- USB Speaker
- USB Flash Drive
