Possible problem on Shield with Android 9?

Forums

Now, I'm not actually sure Android 9 is to blame, because I hadn't used the shield or virtualhere for a few months, but when I turned it on on the weekend there was an update for Android 9, so I installed it and since then Virtualhere hasn't been working. The client on my windows 10 PC discovers it fine, but then sits there trying to connect and eventually times out with a general "Unable to connect" type message.

is the connection time limited ?

Forums

Hi,
I'm trying the trial version of Virtualhere server on a Raspberry Pi 3+.
The USB device connected to the Raspberry is an ECG recording hardware from NORAV Medical which acquires and streams USB data continuously.
I'm able to see the USB device from the client (a laptop running Windows 7), connect to it and record data on the laptop just like the USB device is directly connected to the laptop. Easy to install both server and client sides, amazing job from you.

Webcam on Hyper-V VM - 100% CPU - and no picture

Forums

Running latest Windows 10 Pro on host and Hyper-V VM.
* Host = i7 CPU and 36GB RAM
* VM = 3 virtual CPUs and 10GB RAM allocated

Downloaded and ran the Windows version VirtualHere server and client.
NOTE:
Although the server download page says "Installation is automatic and immediate" - it appears that the server "install" is the same as the client - no actual install - just save it and run.

I did not install Bonjour. I was easily able to find and connect to the server manually.

VirtualHere server conflict with locally installed CP2102 universal driver on macOS 10.15 Catalina

Forums

This is not a problem description, but a solution/workaround which will hopefully help others:

Running macOS Catalina 10.15 beta on a local MacBook Pro, I run the VirtualHere server on it to connect a device via a CP2102 TTL UART to USB adapter.

Android Server without a display

Forums

Hi,

I'm hoping to run the VirtualHere Server on an Nvidia Shield which won't be plugged in to a screen. The only problem I have is every time I boot up the Nvidia Shield a notification shows up "Allow the VirtualHere USB Server to access the USB Device?" I've selected "Use by default for this USB device" but the notification shows up every time - is it possible to automatically allow the USB Device that's plugged in? (A Xin-Mo controller)?

Thanks

disables bluetooth

Forums

Hi am trying to use this app to see if it would work for my needs. but it disables my Bluetooth making it nonfunctional. I read in other posts it disables it in device manager but it is not disabled there.

Trying to resolve it, I disable the bluetooth and re enable it but doesnt work and give following error.
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Only way I can fix bluetooth is by rebooting.

please advice.

Audio device stopped working after using Virtual Here (Windows 10)

Forums

Hello, I purchased VirtualHere to use with Open TPCast and unfortunately after using the software to stream audio to my Oculus Rift, I can no longer hear sound from my primary audio device (Speakers - Realteck High Definition Audio). The system is showing that sound is playing, but it is not actually coming through my speakers or headphones anymore when I plug them into my onboard sound card.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this issue?
