Device not working after using VirtualHere

Forums

Hey,

I have a Problem after using VirtualHere. We are using a company internal USB Device, which is based on libusb1.0. It is a atmel controller to connect to some other devices with a special bus system.

The Device always worked, with the WinUSB Driver, until i used it over a VirtualHere Setup.

Composite HID/Serial device not fully recognised

Forums

Hi there,

I've been trying to use an EDTracker (http://www.edtracker.org.uk) with VirtualHere. Server is MacOS High Sierra, client is Windows.

It's a composite device offering a virtual serial port and a HID (3 axis joystick). The serial port connection worked well under the trial version, but the HID side of it never showed up.

Client problem connection

Forums

Hello I have a problem with my client and the connection to the serever I want. In order to connect I have to first open my client and then from specify hub manually insert the ip and I don't have a problem connecting. BUT if I close or restart my pc and then trying to connect again i get a system message saying "could not connect to " and it is resolved only if if the server in the other pc is restarted. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to resolve it? Because I don't have access myself to the other pc myself. Thanks.

Wired connection set up.

Hi,
I'm running Win10 and the GL-MT300N-V2 device. Have been able to get the system working in wireless mode, but bought it to use over a wired system.

I've enabled LAN mode on the GL-MT300N-V2 device.
Connected the GL device to my router via an ethernet cable plugged into the LAN (not the WAN) port.
Started up the client software on a Win10PC connected to the router.
The Win10 client cannot find the GL device on the network

Any advice on how to get this to work?

thanks. JP

Win7 64 bits client - PC crashing when connecting remote device

Forums

Hi,

I successfully created a linux USB server. I'm now struggling with the Win 7 64 bits client. I see the server and I see the USB devices attached to it.

When I want to remotely use my Brother MFC-7340 printer, Win 7 detect it as a wierd device named 0x01e7. I tried to update the driver but Win 7 always said it's a Composite USB device. I tried to "force" to associate it to a Brother driver but Win 7 gave me a Blue Screen of Death...
