Hi.. Does virtualhere run as a client on a Shield TV box?

I see the app that runs on android TV, but its the server side, not a client.

My use case is a home theater setup where all the AV gear is in an adjacent closet. What I want is to use a remote bluetooth device and FLIRC IR receiver connected to a Raspberry Pi 4 server inside the theater room, and have the Shield TV and the AV receiver remote,.

Does this work? How would I set this up?

Can the Android App also be used as a client?

I have a windows 10 VirtualHere USB Server and a Windows 10 VirtualHere Client

On the server, I have attached an ASI294MC Pro camera, that has a USB 3.0 hub built in with two ports. To those two ports I have another camera attached (ASI120MM Mini), and a USB-Serial Controller (connected to a telescope).

The Windows 10 Client sees the following devices:

i configure raspberry with VirtualHere Server.
It's all done, and i see all USB devices in Client (windows7).
if i select a optical mouse, for exemple, i can use "remote" mouse and it works.

In Client:
VENDOR: AKS
PRODUCT: HASP 2.17
VENDOR ID:0X0529
PRODUCT ID 0X001
ADDRESS: 114

but, if i "Use This device" HASP 2.17, the software that's use the HASP dongle, dont detect.

it's because i'm use the trial version? The full version works?

Hi,

we have a Virtualhere Client running on Windows Server 2008r2 as a Service.

But everytime we reboot the Server or restart the Virtualhere Client Service, all Settings are gone ( like " Auto-Find Hubs" and "Auto-Use All Devices")

How can i safe this settings that they survive a reboot?

After upgrading client OS to to win10 1903 the USB mouse is found and connected like before the upgrade, but there is no mouse movement. Should VirtualHere be working with win10 1903? What could be steps to try and fix this problem?

After reinstalling windows since I got a new SSD, I tried to get virtualhere running again, but when I click on the 64bit exe it just pops up real quick in the bottom right icon tray and instantly dissapears again.

There also seems to be no process running or anything its just gone.

I tried to open VirtualHere app on macOS 10.13.6 but it crashed. It said "Please see syslog for more information."
I checked the syslog and found crash backtrace as below. But still I cannot figure out what was wrong.
Could you please find out what was wrong with the client app.

I’m trying to use my Logitech g29 wheel on nvidia GeForceNow. VH is in installed and working in my steam library and can be found while using my pc, however, it doesn’t appear in my steam library when using GeForceNow. It’s nowhere to be found.

I’ve tried putting the VH app on my Shield, VH works with my Xbox elite controller and mini keyboard but not the g29.... not even the prompt to always use VH while this devise is plugged in. The g29 does power up and calibrate when plugged in to the USB but that’s all.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

I use vh client for windows 10 1903 64 bits connected to an Android server.

I have analyzed that the client prevents the new Ryzen processors to enter on idle state because it makes "Outstanding Timer Request"
