Sony Alpha camera to Sony Imaging Edge application, Windows 10 on both sides

Forums

Hi All! This looks so good and I'm very close to something I need for an telescope application.

My Sony A7iii camera is connected USB to a Windows 10 running VirtualHere Sever via USB. In another Widows10 system, I'm running VirtualHere Client it comes very close to working.

The client system see the camera on the server as ILCE-7M3, which is correct. That goes away when I power off the camera and comes back when I power it on. It's sorta working!

messages from Linux client

Forums

I have an old data logging device that I have had connected via virtualhere to a Windows XP virtual machine. There are occasional issues and so I thought I'd connect via virtualhere to the host Ubuntu system, and then share it to the virtual machine.

Downloaded the Linux x64 client and connected to the datalogger, and I then see the following:

Reflashing OpentpCast

Forums

Hei.
I bought used tpcast from 3. person and was told that it has license. how to do i reflash to opentpcast without buying new license?
Note: If you are reflashing a previously upgraded TPCast device and have already purchased a TPCast VirtualHere licence, you do not need to purchase a new licence and can skip this section. this was on the guide.

do i need to ask the owener of the license to send me the key or what?
was also mention from the seller that the key was embedded with software or cloud something, could not remember.

Raspberry pi 3 crashing

Forums

Hi all,

I have a raspberry running the latest version of raspbian and all updates installed.
Created a crontab to run the optimized version of virtualhere for pi3 and a smart meter console cable connected via USB.
On the client side, a Intel NUC is running the latest version of ubuntu server and the virtualhere client.

When first contact is made, the data from my smart meter is available in the NUC, but after a few hours the raspberry crashes.
If I examine the server logs, there are a lot of messages:

Include date for "System Messages"?

Forums

Hey... The new 4.6.4 W7 client seems to work great. No more crashes and better connectivity to the Pi server with my Smarthome 2412S device.

I check "system messages" periodically to see if anything goofy is going on, and see things like the log below. But I look at it and wonder if those disconnects happened yesterday, the day before, or when.

Any chance of including the date in the message?

Server Creation

Forums

Hello,

I am new user of VirtualHere. Using 2 laptops on Windows 10, connected via the same local network, the program works as intended.

I am attempting to connect 2 PCs that are running on separate networks. I'm unsure if this is possible without including a third-party. So far I have followed the 'Server Configuration' thread in attempt to identify 1 of the PCs as the server.

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
