Hi, I'm currently using my raspberry 3b+ as my server and it currently works great, my problem is that I've one client with auto use port/device and sometimes I need to use the same device on another client but there's no option to kick out the other client and I've to manually do it.
I've read something about that feature but from what I understood I need the licensed version. Is that correct?

I need one client with auto use, and be able to kick out that client from my other client

I am trialing Virtualhere to see if it would work providing remote access to some ham radio gear (using FTDI usb-serial adapters). I have a RaspPi 3 B+ running the generic Arm VH server and a Mac running 10.14.5 (Mojave) running the VH client. My initial test was on my home network. I can see the device on the Mac client, attach to it, and control the remote device. However, when I am finished and right click the device to "unuse" it, my Mac will kernel panic. It happens every time when I try to "unuse" the virtual device.

I have set up my server running Ubuntu 18.04 server to load vhclientx86_64 as a service. I added the vhui script, and that works fine to start and stop the client as a service.

The problem is that I use monit to start and stop services, and this needs the pid to check if the service is running.

I would like to use a device that is plugged to my Windows server on a virtual machine.
But when I install the server usb on my Windows server and I install the client on a virtual machine, the usb server is not discovered by the client

Whenever I restart my Android device (Shield TV), the device permission dialog pops up again for all devices connected and not ignored. However, I noticed that this dialog is not shown if I plugin / activate the USB devices a bit after the reboot. They work just as usual after that. Is it possible that deferring the Virtual Here startup would get rid of having to confirm the permission dialog time and again?

Is there any chance of getting a copy of the final firmware that was made available for the MR3020?

I'd like to re-purpose an existing MR3020 for a new project but no longer have CloudHub installed on it.

Would it be possible to add a combined disconnect / connect function below the "Disconnect from user" right click menu entry? This would be very useful to specify a default client that always connects to a device after X seconds while allowing to easily switch the same device over to another client without having to disconnect and then connect again separately.

I want to use a GL-MT300N-V2 with the intended firmware but no luck so far.
My problem is that after the firmware is flashed to the unit it never appears to my list of wifi units.

There is no problem to start the flash using this file.
