I am planning to buy an Nvidia Shield TV and then install a bluetooth USB dongle to use my Xbox controller for GFE games via virtualhere. I anticipate this will be better for me compared to the native bluetooth implementation of the Shield. A few questions:
1) Will the controller allow me to control the Shield GUI? Or only playing games? I anticipate this will only be in GFE games, but hope I am wrong?
Hello,
Hi,
thank you for this great piece of software which basically works fine!
Unfortunately I have a serious issue connecting iPhones and iPads between an OSX server and client. The scenario:
I want to do automatic backups of my iDevices with iMazing. This function is only supported in the OSX version, so I've installed an OSX as a VM on one of my servers, and installed iMazing. The problem is that you need to pair the iDevice with the OSX ("Trust this computer") to get this working.
Server: GL-MT300N-V2
Version: 3.8.1
USB device: Aeotec Stick Gen5 (ZW050x_USB_VCP_ PC_Driver (https://aeotec.com/z-wave-usb-stick)
Client hardware: MacOS 10.14.3
VH Client version: 4.6.5
#1) I am unable to properly mount the USB device on the client Mac. When connected directly to the Mac, the USB device appears as
/dev/cu.usbmodemxxxxx and /dev/tty.usbmodemxxxxx
However, when using VH the devices are not created in /dev
The OS-X system reporter shows:
Communication Device:
Trying to run a device that is not known by the software. Can I use the vendors drivers to make this work?
I'm using a Nvidia Shield TV and want to use my BT dongle to work on my Shadow PC. All other dongles and USB work fine but my Bluetooth dongle is identified in control panel but it's having error 10 code. I have installed and updated drivers on my VM PC but can't get it installed correctly. Tested on another PC and the dongle is working.
I get the yellow symbol in control panel. So the device is recognised but not operating.
The dongle is a Broadcom one. ASUS BT400
Thinking to buy a Mibox (https://www.mi.com/global/mibox/). Curious whether I can attach a USB bluetooth dongle to it and the use virtualhere? Thanks in advance!
