Win Server 2003 compatible VH-client version request

Forums

Dear VirtualHere-Team,

I´m in progress virtualizing a Win Server 2003 x32 system used for data logging (offline operation) with a custom usb i/o-interface due to worn-out pc-hardware. Now I´m looking for a Win32 compatible version of your VirtualHere Client EXE (e.g. V4.0.1). The recent version (4.7.x) of the VH-client responds with "not a valid Win32 Application" when I try to launch it under 2003.

Forums

Hi,
today my Windows 10 received most recent updates, after which VirtualHere Client doesn't manage to connect to dongle.

Basic info about my system: Windows 10 Pro, version 1809, OS build 17763.475, 64-bit OS, x64-based processor
Dongle is inserted in QNAP NAS on which four computers are connected.

Best Regards,

Daniel.

BIND_ERROR on Windows 10 server

Forums

Hello,

I have 1 virtualhere windows 10 server with a purchased license and it works perfectly with a bluetooth dongle which I'm using to connect 2 Xbox One Controllers. However, I have also bought the Xbox Wireless Adapter and I want to run the adapter through Virtualhere to use the controllers with the adapter. When I click on "use this device" does not complete function (the client eventually shows "there was an error using this device") and the server logs a BIND_ERROR.
Please, could you help me?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Disappearing/Missing Dongles - Linux

Forums

Hi,
OK so we have been running a dongle server on Linux (debian VM) for a couple of years, rarely problems with maybe a good 8-12 dongles.
Mid last year, we seem to lose alot of the dongles, as in they were not visible from the Windows clients (VMs). After a reboot of the Linux system all was well.
But the last couple of months, things have been getting slowly worst. Currently problems:
1. We don't see all the dongles, maybe 4 out of a good 8.

Connecting storage devices allows for detection, but not for interaction

Forums

Hello, been enjoying the service for about a month now with an Android server and a Windows client.

However, today I tried to connect several different storage devices to my server (ADATA external HDD, and a couple USB 3.0 drives from Kingston and SanDisk), and while they are detected and in use on the VirtualHere client, for some reason I am not able to find them in either Device Management, Disk Management or File Explorer.

It would help me a lot to find a way to solve this, given I'm running out of space in my current VM.

So, thanks in advance!
