Find Controller-Hub.Port for device on windows server

Forums

Hi,

I can't find an obvious way to locate the controller-hub.port combination on my Windows Server. I am supposed to give them in a format like 1.1-1 but nowhere on the client nor the server can I find a reference to this number. It would a great help if either the server or the client could show this mapping for connected deices. That way I could easily tell the server what bus to ignore.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can find this?

USB client driver for Polhemus tracker

Forums

We are using VirtualHere software to share a USB device over network.
The USB device is a Polhemus Tracker
VirtualHereLog.txt attached

The USB client has got the driver installed for Polhemus tracker, but VirtualHere seems to want to download it from:

https://www.virtualhere.com/sites/default/files/usbserver/windows/win64…

Can it be added there, please?

Do we need to send the driver file to you?

Maybe a silly question...

Forums

Hi there,

We have a piece of equipment which doesn't have 64-bit driver support. We already use VirtualHere for some licence dongles, I was wondering if it would be possible to share a USB device which only has 32-bit support, to a 64-bit machine? This may be a really silly question, but is it possible to pass through the device from a 32-bit VirtualHere server, to a 64-bit Windows client?

Regards,
Richard

windows 10 client crash on a specific device removal

Forums

I have a problem with a windows 10 client crashing (BSOD) whenever the usb device (national instruments USB-6009) is either physically unplugged from the Odroid-C2 server or released (stop-using) with the virtual-here client gui.
USB-6009 device is the only device having this problem
This problem is not present on Win7/64bit client against the same server.
