Problems uploading sketches to Arduino Mega on Windows 10

Forums

I'm running into a strange sporadic problem while connecting to multiple genuine Arduino Mega boards (not clones) through VirtualHere and trying to upload a sketch/program to the board. It opens a serial connection, tries to communicate with a bootloader, then uploads the program. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it fails with timeout errors. Strangely enough, this doesn't happen with the Arduino Uno boards that work the same way.

I thought it might be Ethernet or network connection related, but I'm running with very low 1

One server - 2 Wlan adapter- want to split the devices

Forums

I am using Virtualhere with TPCast. I want to use the vive camera with a usb wlan adapter in the usb port. The virtualhere client doesn't seem to remember which device I want on a specific ip addresses. I am trying to have virtualhere start all the Vive devices except the camera on the onboard wlan nic and the camera on the usb nic... but they don't stay that way on restart in the virtualhere client. Please advise. Thanks.

Problem with Keylok II

Forums

Just moving over to Hyper-V for virtualization and ran into a problem getting a software key to work. I see that Keylok II is supported as of version 2.5, but I can't seem to get it to work. When I open the client, I can see it, but when I try to use it, it gives me a generic "There was a error using this device".

vhui32.exe 4.3.9 crashes on startup on Win7

Forums

I upgraded a couple of cloudhub RPi3 devices to the latest version and tried using ver 4.3.9 vhui32.exe. It crashes on startup and dumps to 3 files I can send you if it works ok for you. ver. 4.3.9 vhui64.exe works ok on a win7 64 bit computer. I ended up going back to ver. 4.2.9 vhui32.exe on the 32 bit computer this needs to run on. (I also deleted the vhui.ini file with no effect, it still crashed.)

Pi3 as Server - Win7 64bit Client ok vs. Win10 64bit Client nok

Forums

I use a Pi3 as Server connected to a USB-RS232 converter and to another USB device (PLC).

The Client under Win7 64bit is working perfect - installing 2 drivers at first connect (usb hub + usb controller) + installing the device (internal a usb to serial converter).

Hanging serial port in linux client

Forums

I am using a free version of virtualhere to find that it has a convenient behavior to my work or not. In my scenario I configured a ubuntu 16.04 on windows 10 hyper-v system. Hyper-v is a great solution in my case but has an annoying shortage that has not any serial sharing support, so I use virtualhere to share my usb connected to windows 10 for my ubuntu system.
