VirtualHere detectable?

Forums

There is an USB product called Seneye which allows you to monitor things over USB.
Now the vendor updated their software so it isn't possible anymore to use VirtualHere to virtualise the USB. They did this because they are selling a WIFI->USB product and want to make additional sales on this expensive device.

How is it possible that they can prevent the use of VirtualHere? And can VirtualHere fix this so we can use it again for this purpose?

Occasional crash in 4.2.6 on Windows 10

Forums

I'm using this by talking directly to the pipe. Most of the time it's fine, but I have seen an "IPC client ReadFile failed, error: 109" error and a crash.

The last time it happened during a "MANUAL HUB ADD", but I have seen it with "LIST" as well. Here's two entries in the syslog from last time:

How many USB Devices can be added to one Synology NAS

Forums

Hello,
We are using VirtualHere with one Synology NAS. We installed 3 USB Hubs with 10 slots per Hub, so that we should be able to get 30 devices running in summery.
Unfortunately it seems to be a limit either in the Software VirtualHere or in the Synology because we only get 24 devices online. The other 6 devices will not be added to the device List.

Two-way communication

Forums

Hi,

I am trying to use VirtualHere to connect a ANT+ USB sensor to a server. The VirtualHere server runs on a laptop with the USB device connected, and the client runs on the server.
The connection between the two works fine, but it seems to be only one way communication from VirtualHere server to client.
Is there a way to have a two-way communication (i.e. send and receive data from the USB device)?
