USB WebCam on Windows not connecting- latest version

Forums

Hello,

I had this issue previously where I couldn't connect to my USB Camera and had to revert back to a previous version.  I'm again seeing this on the latest VirtualHere Windows release.

It will show it's connected initially, the disconnect.  All other devices work just fine.

Is it possible to download previous versions of the client/server?  I can't seem to find where to do this.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Edit - below is the log from the server side:

JC Token RDP

Forums

I bought your license for an office that uses a USB token to sign and login to various sites that require it. Works fine inserted into Synology NAS.

I want to buy your license to use on a Windows Server 2016.

Installed the VirtualHere server and I can see and use the key on other machines fine no problem.

The issue is with when I have to RDP into the server, the key is cloned and says in use by you on the clone device in RDP not like on normal access.

Is there anyway to solve this ?

Does my license reset if I reinstall the OS?

Forums

I'm thinking about purchasing Virtual Here but I have a question...

Does the license reset (ie. removed) if I install the OS?  (I'm considering Android [Quest 3] and Raspberry Pi 4)

I was hoping to install on both the Quest 3 and RPi 4 but it looks like that would require two license purchases?

Thanks

Could I use .ps1 file instead of .bat in config.ini?

Forums

i am trying to perform usage time limit, I need to store some information like address and connection time inside json file, and i can't perform this using batch file, so i need to use powershell scripting to perform this, could i replace batch files with powershell script ?

Easyfind requirements

Forums

Hi, I've been checking topics here and  it seems like if there's a firewall (corporate) in the virtualhere server then easyfind won't work right (client is using a home broadband)? or it is possible? just that more firewall configuration is required and not just opening port 443 UDP. Appreciate the response!

two similar webcams, possible?

Forums

Hello,

I got two similar webcams, but i tried with 2 different type webcams and it worked fine.

Now when there are two similar webcams, i can connect only one and it's always the same one.

They are quite low quality cams, only 640x480 so bandwith should not be issue, tested with different cameras that both were fhd and that worked fine.

Might this be issue with windows as client, or virtualhere issue?

vlc and other programs say on camera #1 that it ain't good for opening, but for usb camera (withouth #1 on name) opens up most of times without no problem.
