Good luck with USB hubs?

Forums

I need to connect a hub to my Raspberry Pi in order to connect a number of USB devices. Since USB hubs are notoriously finicky, I was wondering if anyone has recommendations about hubs they've used that work well, work not so well, etc. The USB devices in question are USB console ports from Cisco networking devices.

Installed Steam, installed American Truck Simulator (ATS).
Ran the T150 installation program.
Plugged T150 into USB on computer. Drivers loaded. All configurations worked, and the T150 operated correctly in ATS. The T150 appears in the Devices and Printers screen as a Thrustmaster FFB Wheel.

Cache SSD of QNAP shown

Forums

Hi,

in my QNAP TS-653Pro I have a SSD as cache for my QNAP. It is and must not be used by other stuff.

When I look at the Windows Client of VirtualHere I see a device called IUM01-512MFHS this seems to be my 512GB caching SSD. When I connect to this device I get a message from Windows if I would format it. That means I'm really able to connect to my QNAP hard drive configured as caching disk.

That's very bad, because if I connect in mistake this device I would be able to destroy the data on my QNAP!

Windows Server Service wont Start

Forums

I've been running the Windows Server version as a service for a while now on three different systems. Generally all has been good.

Yesterday one of the guys here removed the service to update to the latest version and now it wont start.
On install it installs the service and then fails with a "timeout" message, if the service is started manually it starts and then stops immediately.

There is nothing in the event log to point to the issue.
Rebooted etc, makes no difference.

Can run VH server as application fine, it's just the service that's not working.
