Support for VirtualHere hardware and software

Load Firmware By Driver

Forums

Okay this one may be a step too far but I'll give it a shot.

The camera I'm using is crap due to the fact that it would appear the driver wants to pump firmware too it when its loaded so it would seem.

So......

On my windows client, if I plug the camera in, it is detected in the Device Manager but seems to get its knickers in a twist and when I load up some video software it complains about a bunch of stuff and basically doesn't work.

Feature Request: uPnP support

Forums

Reverse Connections are ok if your client is not behind a firewall. Most times both the client and server are behind firewalls.

Most modern firewalls support uPnP to open up ports automatically and without having to tweak the firewall settings every time something changes. Are there any plans for implementing uPnP support in the server and perhaps client to facilitate connections?

Windows 8 vhhub BSOD

Forums

Hello

I'm trying to run a couple of USB cameras over virtualhere for some telescope stuff, all proof of concept at the moment but the idea is sound.

Anyway, one works fine, the other is detected and is fine up until it tries to expose. Then Windows 8 gives me a BSOD and reboots complaining about vhhub.sys

Is there anything I can do to debug this?

Thanks

Tom

conflict with p910nd print server

Forums

Hi.
I've got a little problem with VH conflicting with p910nd print server (http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/p910nd.server) on my OpenWRT router.
The problem didn't occur when I was using a trial version of VH - now with embedded one, when a second device is connected the problem is as follows: several desktops print to the printer via p910nd but when one of them connects the printer with VH (it doesen't have to print, just connecting) printing via p910nd is no longer available.

USB 3 Support

Forums

Hi,

My ReadyNAS102 has two USB3 ports on the back. I have a USB3 harddrive which I would like to have plugged in permanently into one of these ports.

I have noticed that any USB2 devices plugged into either the USB2 or USB3 ports work fine. Also, the USB3 harddrive plugged into a USB2 port works fine. However, when I try to plug in the USB3 hardrive into a USB3 port, although it shows up in the list of devices in the client software, it doesn't seem to get recognised by the client computer (a desktop running Ubuntu 14.04).
