vhusbdmipssf bug?

Forums

Hello!

for some reason, if i disconnect the usb it detects that it has been disconnected.. but if i reconnect it, then it doesnt notice that i reconnected it. At the same way it only works if the usb is already plugged in when i run the app.

Is this a bug or a design limitation?

thanks!

Igor

client crashed win8.1

Forums

I am using VirtualHere 2.6.8 for the first time, with a 1-device license.
The server is on a Linux machine running Centos7.0 on my local subnet.
The device is a logitech webcam.
once connected, the drivers are loaded, and on vhenum.exe gaining rights, the windows locks up
with Driver_Overrun_Stack_Buffer.
It is the first time this computer has ever crashed.

Problem with my openwrt router

Forums

Hi,

Thanks for your great work!

I wanted to share my USB stick in my little router with openwrt system, then I would read the data on my Windows. All worked fine several days ago, but failed today.

I run ./vhusbdmipssf in the router and run vhui32 in the Win7/32, but the client software kept connecting with the server.

USB DVD writer via VirtualHere does not work - Causes?

Forums

Hello,

I just tried to check whether VirtualHere works for me with the following device: I installed it (that means: the evaluation version) on a Synology NAS device and connected a USB DVD/CD writer to it with the intention to use it over the network. Technically, it is a rather old one and consists of an IDE/ATAPI DVD writer in a housing with a USB/IDE bridge. (Sorry; I do not have a vendor/device ID available)

VirtualHere on TP-Link WR703n with OpenWrt

Forums

Hi,

did anyone already have success to install Virtualhere on a TP-Link WR703n with OpenWrt?
After success with a raspi, I wanted to test this with this little compact router with integrated wifi-interface

First, I do not know which package is the right one.
And then, I only had success on my raspi because of the very detailed and helpful OEM-FAQ. I am linux beginner, and very thankful for those step by step instructions.

VirtualHere over WLan on raspberry

Forums

Hi,

having a closer look on the OEM-Faq, I was able to get virtualhere running on a raspi in very short time :-)
Now I have fully access to my arduino.
Thanks Michael !!!

But the next step would be, to get wireless connection.
Can anybody tell me:
- is this is possible?
- can i take every usb-wifi adapter, or do i have to pay attention and buy a specific one?
- what changes do i have to make on the rasp-pi?

Thanks for any reply in advance
regards/brutzler
