I just tested Virtualhere with my Raspberry Pi B+ and it works perfectly
I can now remotely control my CANON DSLR CAMERA !
The only problem : I need an external power source for the PI

when connecting a USB Software Dongle (WIBU-BOX/U) to a Windows 7 64bit machine, the systems ends up with a bluescreen saying SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. The bluescreen doesn't occur, when connecting to the dongle, but when the dongle is accessed.
The dongle was used with a different USB Device Server before with no problems.
Let me know, what further information you need.

Hi,

I have successfully setup the server and connect to it with Windows and use the devices. This was a test and worked well.
On server side I have also set AutoAttachToKernel=1 so that I can use it when not in use by a client (/dev/ttyUSB0)

Client is unable to find the server.

QNAP TS-459U+
Client version 2.5.7
Server version 1.9.3

Also installed V2 manually from your website. But no luck.

I am running vhui32.exe as service in Windows 7 and everything works fine excpet Win7 each time crashes with bluescreen after waking up from hibernate mode. Can I make any changes to the configuration of the service to avoid this?

Running OS X 10.10.1... If the raspberrypi gets rebooted, the client crashes, and when you try to bring it up again it says "The application "VirtualHere" is not open anymore.

Only way I have figure out to get past this, is to reboot the mac...

Hi , i have the License for my Raspberry Pi and all works fine but now i try to use it with my Synology DS3611xs and my client can found the dongle and start it , but when i try to get access on my licenses over the elicenser software , he cant find it ... i also use a ilok dongle with protools 10 and protools 11 and it work fine too ! its only the elicenser dongle , what can i do ?

btw , can i change my license from the raspberry pi to the synology ? because i cant use the raspberry anymore .

Hi,

we want to use VirtualHere to share USB Software dongles. We already use a different product, but are not happy with some of its limitations.
One annoying feature is the auto connect, which is also provided by VirtualHere. Do you see any possibility to remove the Auto-Use and maybe other functions from the Client GUI, if possible controllable via the configuration file, to get a very limited Client?
