I'm trying to connect to a USB DAC.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

I've installed the software to my CuBox i4pro using the rpi complilation on an openelec image, and its all up and running fine.
I can connect from my MAC using the client, and can see / use the USB port from OSX.
Thumbdrives are certainly working fine.

I bought a simple USB sound card based on a CM108 chipset and I'm trying to make it available to a Windows VM. Windows sees the device, installs drivers for it and does not report any errors, but no sound is coming from it (also in programs displaying video synced with audio the video is displayed in fast motion). When connected directly (to Windows, OS X and Linux) there are no problems and the sound card behaves as is supposed to.

I'm working in a lawyer office in France.
Every lawyer in the country is given an USB Dongle which stores an individual certificate
This is used to communicate with the Courts and with the other lawyers in the country

It's quite complicated in my office since we are 15 lawyers
A lawyer is often working in another lawyer file and we loose a lot of time exchanging the keys between us.
So my idea was to plug all the keys in my raspberry pi and use Virtualhere to share them to everyone.

I've download the latest VirtualHere USB server (2.0.4) on my WL-500GP with OpenWRT.
But I got an error message as ./vhusbdmips: line 1: syntax error: unexpected "(".
How can I fix it?

I am using DDWRT on an Atheros-based router with the vhusbdmipssf server. I have successfully shared an hp photosmart 7700 to clients on both Windows 7 64bit and OS X 10.9.5. I have also successfully shared a CanoScan 8800F to the client on Windows 7.

As I'm also using many PRO AUDIO softwares, I just tried using VIRTUALHERE with both ILOK and SYNCROSOFT usb dongles.
These are used to store software licences.

It's actually working very well !
I just tried with CUBASE 8.0 (Syncrosoft) and the PLAY engine (ILOK - www.soundsonline.com)

currently i'm using a Wimax Chipset connnected to raspberry pi.i want to be able to change the ProductID and VendorID of the chipset in Windows Client,so the windows Drivers can recognize it.Would you mind adding an option in the client to change those values?

I think it would be easy enough,You just have to give the client an extra option to set ProductID and VendorID when he right click on the device.

Or if you think i can accomplish this with some hacks,please let me know.

I am new to VirtualHere after struggling with usbip on a Rasberry for while.

I have started the server on the RasPi and the client i running as a deamon on the client.
I can USE my RasPi device on the client. So far so good.
BUT, how can I verify that the device "exists" on the client computer?
I have tried lsusb and looked in the /dev/, but nothing...

I have a server that collects data from several devices over the network. Devices have RS-232 interface, so I use Prolific USB-to-RS232, and connect devices to Raspberries running Virtualhere servers (licensed). I have total of 3 Raspberries with 6 devices, and growing.

I've bought a licence to use Virtualhere to control my main PC which is in an adjacent building connected to my LAN. I currently have a keyboard, mouse and joystick connected through hub. However the mouse is so jumpy when connected through virtualhere that I can't really control the PC. I've tried without the hub with same problem.

I'm currently running the server on Synology ds211j although I do have a Pi which I haven't tried as yet.

Any idea why this might be?
