Raspberry 4 model bi usb devices

Forums

Hello. Lately, I've been experiencing issues with USB devices connected to the Raspberry Pi 4. Devices are disconnecting, I can't connect to them, or they disappear from the list entirely. Most dongles work through a USB hub, but a similar issue has also been observed with devices directly connected to the Raspberry Pi ports. What could this be?

MacOS Tahoe USB Server Support

Forums

I use VirtualHereServer Universal on an Apple M4 Mac Mini. I recently updated to MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1, and VirtualHere server has stopped working. I downloaded and installed the most recent version of VirtualHere USB Server (4.8.3), and when I click on the icon in my Applications folder for VirtualHereServerUniversal.app, I get a system error message that says, "The application 'VirtualHereServerUniversal.app" is not open anymore." Nothing else comes up, like the standard window showing the server running, or an icon in the system tray at the top of the screen.

Transer license

Forums

Good afternoon. I unsuccessfully updated the firmware on my Raspberry Pi, causing the system to crash. Is there a way to transfer it? I have a question:
1) Will the license be lost if I replace the SD card?
2) If it is lost, is it possible to transfer the license from one server to another?

Unable to find device on virtual here client running on RPI 5

Forums

I have a FTDI USB to Serial interface I am trying to access running VH client with gui on RPI 5. The device shows up in the VH client interface. I am able to click on the device and use it. When I look on other devices in my network running windows and macOS, it shows that the device is being used by the RPI 5.  However, I am unable to locate it under /dev, or using the lsusb or dsmsg commands. When I click on the device in the VH client and look at properties, I do see attributes.
