USB Audio dongle and smart card on Hyper-V

Forums

I've been playing with using VirtualHere to redirect USB devices on local (as in running on the same machine as the host, which is a pretty beefy machine) Hyper-V guests running Win11, to get around issues I've been having with built-in Hyper-V device redirection. In some cases, it's worked incredibly well - for example, redirecting my USB Brio camera appears to be flawless.

Webcam limited resolution over WiFi 6

Forums

Hello!

I have a webcam that works at 1080p when directly connected to the client. When I connect this webcam using the VirtualHere server on a laptop (4 core i7), using a WiFi 6 5ghz connection with full signal, the webcam's image will only show on the client when it's set to 600p or lower.

My intention for this setup is to use a set of headphones, microphone, webcam, keyboard and mouse over the VirtualHere server.

PS5 DualSense controller causing stuttering/crashes

Forums

Hey there,

I've been using VirtualHere on the free tier for a couple weeks to connect a keyboard to my PC and it worked pretty flawlessly, so was happy to splash out to get the license so I could connect my controllers too. Rather foolishly I didn't test the controller itself before getting the license and have been trying to get it to work with my DualSense controller but have gotten nothing but issues.

Android 12

Forums

Hi,

The virtualhere server running on Android 12 seems only able to detect and share either USB Network or USB disk devices.  These seem to be the only type of device that Android 12 detects when plugged in.

I'v tried USB to RS232 (Prolific and FTDI chipsets) , Finger Print Readers (Digital Persona URU), and smart card readers (HID Omnikey 3x21) with no success.  Plugging in these devices has no response.

The Android device is a "Blackview A52" phone running Android 12

MS Studio 2 Plus - Looses Keyboard & Mouse when VirtualHere Server is started

Forums

Is there a way of telling VirtualHere Server to ignore my local Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Wireless Mouse when I start the VirtualHere Server program? Currently I lose my mouse and keyboard and I have to reboot by using the stylus on the touch sensitive screen.

Computer is a Microsoft Studio 2 Plus.

Operating system: Windows 11 Pro.

Audio Permission Popup with G30s remote

Forums

I have the issue that whenever I start my Nvidia Shield I get an popup about audio permission shortly after the android launcher appears.

The device causing this popup is a "G30s Remote".

I activated all permissions for the app (even if I dont realy want to because I don't see why I have to).

I tried to set the device on ignore.

I have 3 devices connected to the shield via hub:

xbox one usb adapter, logitech keyboard, and the g30s remote.

Issues with Dygma Raise Keyboard and LoupeDeck Live

Forums

Running registered version of VirtualHere MacOSX client, Raspberry Pi 4 Server

Having several issues.

First one is with Dygma Raise programmable keyboard.

The keyboard operates correctly when used for normal input and Bazecor (keyboard programming application) will connect but it disconnects when attempting to update the programming on the keyboard and also corrupts the current programming as well.
