Thrustmaster Wheel Support

Forums

Hi,

I am using virtualhere to remotly play games and have had great sucess using different types of controllers. However, I recently tried connecting my Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer steering wheel and encoutered some issues. The device is regonized by the host and functions normally for button presses and potentiometer but seems to not work with the force feedback. There is force feedback applied on the wheel but it seems to be random and not accurate with what is supposed to happen.

Do you know if this wheel is known to have issues with virtualhere?

Rpi3 vs Rpi4 usb latency?

Forums

Hello! I recently updated from a Rpi3 to an Rpi4 to take advantage of USB3, newer hardware etc. I have an interesting use case that VH works perfectly with - I have a home flight simulator but it's not exactly located close to my PC for typical USB connections. I am running a 30ft USB 3 extension cable which works, but instead of running multiple extension cables for what I need, VH works great to connect a hub back to my PC for peripherals. The issue I've run into is spikes in latency on the pi4 which didn't exist on the pi3.

My webcam is now hidden in Devices Manager

Forums

Hello,

I wanted to try your product by using it with my webcam.
After a few tests between two PC, and a failure (the webcam wasn't working on the second PC despite the "detection" by your product), my host PC started to crash and have BSOD.

So I decided to delete your product and stop using it. Unfortunately, that wasn't without your apparent incompetency, because now, my webcam is fucked up.
As I said in the title, it's detected but grayed out (hidden). Even by uninstalling it and unplugging it and replugging it, it's not detected correctly anymore.

USB serial loopback on macOS client

Forums

On macOS 12, I am seeing an issue related to RequestToSend/ClearToSend (i.e., CTS value does not follow the RTS value) when using RS232 loopback (Prolific USB to Serial adapter) connected via virtualhere client. I am using macOS Monterey on an intel Mac. Could macOS be restricting it? Any idea?

Note:
On Linux/Windows with RS232 loopback connected via VirtualHere client, I am able to set/reset RTS and check CTS follow the RTS value.
